CLV Group is a leading Canadian real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of high-quality multi-family rental communities. We are currently seeking a Property Cleaner to join our operations team at our newly acquired Weston Road community in North York. This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable cleaning professional with strong customer service skills who enjoys contributing to a vibrant community of over 200 residents. As an operations team member, you will be responsible for maintaining all building areas and ensuring that shared spaces remain clean, modern, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.

Responsibilities

In addition to the duties typically expected of a cleaning professional, responsibilities will include;

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping is considered a strong asset, but is not required.
Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
Basic English verbal communication skills.
Friendly, respectable, and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
Must be eligible to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) as a condition of employment.
Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.

Our Team + What You Can Expect

Most of the work completed will be at 2220-2222 Weston Road, North York, Ontario, M9N 1YZ. However, you may be required to occasionally work at neighboring properties. Work location will always be at the discretion of the employer.
This role requires continuous on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to address emergency situations and urgent resident needs.

The expected base salary for this position is between $17.60 - $20 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, internal equity, and other job-related requirements.
