As an AME, you play a critical role in upholding our commitment to safety and operational excellence. Your expertise ensures our fleet — including ATR 72-500, Dash 8-100/200/300, Basler DC3 Turbo Conversion, and PC-12 series aircraft — continues to operate safely and reliably in Canada’s unique northern environment. When positions are available, AME’s are given the opportunity to transfer bases if desired.

Qualifications:

Must have M1 and/or M2 license.
Ability to obtain necessary airport security clearances and successfully complete the company screening process.
PC12, Dash 8, ATR and/or Basler experience an asset
Ability to make timely and informed decisions in a high-pressure environment.
Must hold a valid Canadian driver's license.
Must have own non-specialized tools
Ability to lift 50 LBS

Selection Criteria:

Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous and potential hazards while taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for NSA staff.
Teamwork: Able to collaboratively work with others to achieve organizational goals.
Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and external customers.
Communication: Listening and communication openly, honestly, effectively and respectfully with diverse audiences.
Organization: Must be flexible and organized with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, self-motivated.

Working Conditions:

Overtime as required
Weekend work required

Schedule:

12 hour shift – 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
Afternoon/Evening shift premium per hour
