Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team at Donaleighs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to creating delicious dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Candidates with restaurant or kitchen experience, especially within the food industry, are encouraged to apply.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Follow sanitation procedures and uphold health standards at all times
Support meal presentation and garnishing for visual appeal

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of food handling and hygiene standards
Excellent serving skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and meal preparation processes
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
