Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Busser to join our restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean dining environment, and supporting the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude to ensure guests enjoy their visit. Prior experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
Clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area
Assist servers with food delivery and refilling beverages as needed
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations
Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments throughout the shift
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures in all tasks
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup when necessary
Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service
Uphold cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations

Skills

Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
Hospitality-oriented attitude with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
Team player with a positive, professional demeanor
Previous experience in hotel or food industry settings is a plus but not mandatory
