Human Resources Generalist
Location: Kitchener, ON (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approx. 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000
Term: 3–6 Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kitchener. This opportunity is available immediately to support the HR team during a leadership transition, with potential for long-term hire based on business needs and performance.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional with experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, benefits, onboarding, and HRIS management in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain employee records and HRIS data including onboarding, status changes, and documentation
Support recruitment activities including screening, interviewing, offer presentation, and onboarding
Administer employee benefits, vacation tracking, and HR-related programs
Coordinate employee orientation, training, and engagement initiatives
Prepare HR reports and support workforce administration activities
Assist with employee relations matters and communicate HR policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality while supporting a high-volume HR function
Support compliance-related processes and employee security clearances where required

Qualifications

3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Professional, resourceful, and customer-service focused approach
