Full job description

Equation Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Cooks/Kitchen Prep Workers for a post-secondary campus in Red Deer, Alberta. If you have previous kitchen experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are available to start immediately, we'd love to hear from you!

Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food production
Prepare ingredients, wash, peel, chop, and portion food
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Support cooks and kitchen staff as required
Assist with cleaning equipment and kitchen facilities

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or food service environment
Valid Food Safe Certificate (required)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Available to start immediately
