RESPONSIBILITIES

1. UNLOAD FISH AND SHELLFISH FROM FISHING VESSELS AND TRANSPORT THEM BY HAND OR FORKLIFT TO WORK AREA

2. CONDITION FISH AND SHELLFISH FOR WRAPPING OR FREEZING

3. WEIGH FISH OR SHELLFISH, RECORD WEIGHT AND PACK ON ICE

4. CLEAN MACHINES AND IMMEDIATE WORK AREAS

5. SORT FISH AND SHELLFISH ACCORDING TO SPECIES, WEIGHT, AND DESTINATION

_ EMPLOYMENT GROUPS: VISIBLE MINORITIES, INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, YOUTH, AND NEWCOMERS TO CANADA_

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: DAY, EVENING, NIGHT, WEEKEND, SHIFT, OVERTIME, ON-CALL, FLEXIBLE HOURS, EARLY MORINGS, AND MORNING

_ WORKING ENVIRONMENT: NOISY, ODOURS, COLD, DUSTY, HOT, COLD AND REFRIGERATED AND WET/DAMP_

OWN TOOLS / EQUIPMENT: STEEL-TOED SAFETY BOOTS

WEIGHT HANDLING: UP TO 23 KG (50 LBS)
