At Houston Steak & Fruits de Mer, we’re redefining the steakhouse and seafood dining experience with premium ingredients, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is skilled at preparing steaks and seafood to perfection, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes with consistency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook grilled menu items, including premium steaks, seafood, and sides, according to Houston’s recipes and quality standards
Ensure proper grilling techniques, cooking times, and temperatures for all meats and seafood
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at the grill station
Monitor inventory levels for grill station items and communicate needs to kitchen management
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a grill cook or line cook in a high-volume restaurant
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, grilling techniques, and cooking temperatures
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
