Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Banquet Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in serving and meal presentation for large events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality banquet services in a professional hospitality environment, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets and special events, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in the planning and execution of banquet menus, ensuring timely and efficient meal service
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated according to safety guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service during large events
Monitor portion control and presentation quality to meet guest expectations
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and interns as needed
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within the food industry or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with meal preparation for large groups or banquet settings is preferred
Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and quality control
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy event times
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Prior experience in the food service or hospitality industry is highly desirable
