Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. This versatile role combines food preparation and cooking with excellent customer service as a cashier. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, restaurant operations, and a passion for delivering quality meals and exceptional service. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy hours
Operate cash register, process transactions accurately, and provide friendly customer service at the front counter
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Engage with customers in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
Ability to handle food safely and efficiently during high-volume periods
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
