Job Description:
TheTechnical Sales Representative will drive accelerated growth in the Veterinary Business Pillar by achieving strategic goals through making direct calls on Veterinary Clinics and identifying opportunities which develop new business and increase points of distribution.

Territory

This role is responsible for managing a sales territory that includesLondon and Southwestern Ontario, extending toWindsor, includingSarnia, Chatham, and Ridgetown.

Candidates who are currently located within, or in close proximity to, this territory will be given preference.*

Key Responsibility

Manage and grow relationships with approximately 160 veterinary clinics within the assigned territory, delivering exceptional customer service while achieving business objectives and sales targets.

What are we looking for?

3–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a field-based or territory management role.
Experience within the veterinary industry is highly preferred; experience in the pet retail industry will also be considered.
College diploma or university degree preferred.
Knowledge of veterinary medicine, products, and clinic operations is considered a strong asset.
Familiarity with Royal Canin products and nutritional solutions is an asset.
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Skills Competencies

Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and digital communication.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage a large customer portfolio.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, peers, and cross-functional business partners.
Technically proficient with digital tools, CRM systems, and other business technologies.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Sales Representation and Territory Management

Develop annual and quarterly territory sales plans while striving to meet KPIs .
Leverage the Persuasive selling model (LASER/SPARC) In order to maximize sales.
Develop a strategic call cycle which focus on priority business partners, mainly in person with some virtual meetings.
Work closely with Key Account managers to support activations and promote our brand.
Co-Create joint business plans with select accounts, focusing on SMART goals.
Record and monitor effectiveness of sales interactions using Pitcher/Salesforce.
Engage in business incentive program conversations with veterinary practice owners.
Focus on mutual business growth via services, including but not limited to e-commerce, tele-medicine, vet services, etc.
Perfect clinic program execution including recruitment of nutritional advisors.
Participate in various conferences and trade shows as required.
Ability to learn, understand and communicate the benefits of veterinary nutrition, services, business and digital solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
