Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and friendly Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for creating a positive customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the food industry, including cashiering, food preparation, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items in accordance with safety and quality standards
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food handling and food safety protocols
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and food safety standards.

Skills

Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is an asset
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle serving duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

Pay: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
