Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other food items, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service setting where attention to detail and passion for food are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
Assemble pizzas with precision, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
Cook pizzas in ovens, monitoring temperature and cooking times to achieve optimal results
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and maintaining ingredient stations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations
Serve customers at the counter or assist with dine-in service as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order completion during busy hours

Requirements

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred, especially within a restaurant or kitchen environment
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Experience in meal preparation and food industry operations is advantageous
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
