About Us

Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse brings the authentic flavours of Southern Brazil to Edmonton. We are passionate about delivering a unique churrasco dining experience, where quality, freshness, and hospitality are at the heart of everything we do.

Position: Prep Cook

We are currently hiring a Prep Cook to support our culinary team at our Ellerslie location. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail, and values cleanliness and consistency in food preparation.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for daily service (vegetables, sauces, marinades, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and coolers
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
Support cooks team as needed during service
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen or prep role preferred
Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
Good knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Availability to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Part-time applicants must have flexible availability

Assets (Preferred but not required):

Valid Food Handling Certificate
Valid Work Permit (if applicable)
Familiarity with Brazilian or Latin American cuisine is a plus
