Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive delicious meals prepared with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet customer expectations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients
Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations throughout all food handling processes

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Familiarity with restaurant or food industry standards is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
