Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, accurately taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail in food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and upselling within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and presentation
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas according to sanitation standards
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Collaborate with team members to create a positive guest experience and promote guest services

Experience

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering tasks
Experience in upselling menu items and providing guest services in a fast-paced environment is desirable
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude

Pay: From $17.70 per hour
