JOB OBJECTIVE

Seeking an experienced and technically skilled Warehouse Associate to join the team at Stormtech Performance Apparel at our brand new state of the art facility in Markham, ON. This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving of quality clothing apparel in our Distribution Centre environment.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Order Fulfillment: Ability to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping is fundamental. This includes understanding pick tickets, locating items efficiently, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling to meet shipping standards.
- Equipment Operation: Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks is beneficial for safely moving and storing products.
- Data Entry and Technological Proficiency: Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand/walk during shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the warehouse in a safe manner.
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System is an asset.
- Carry out duties in compliance to legislative responsibilities, company guidelines and procedures regarding operation of powered equipment.
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Experience working in a high paced warehouse environment.
Proficiency operating technical machinery and RF scanners is considered an asset.
Basic computer skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be legally able to work in Canada.
