We are seeking a positive and energetic full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage Team at the Club. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor you will create exceptional experiences for our members and guests while leading a team of service focused individuals in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the Club’s Food & Beverage Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, service execution, and venue management
- Lead and support staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences through menu education and consistent quality oversight
- Develop team performance and ensure compliance of protocols, policies and procedures by delivering comprehensive training to all team members that fosters a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Actively lead daily restaurant operations with a strong floor presence during service while assisting with food and beverage administrative duties, including opening, mid-day, and closing staff responsibilities, as well as end-of-night supervisory closing procedures.
- Effectively address members concerns and complaints immediately; communicate member concerns with management in a timely manner as part of the member feedback process
- Actively contribute to department teamwork including communication and collaboration with the culinary team
- Help maintain labour costs and operational targets while keeping service standards high
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission License requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years food & beverage experience and at least 1 year experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- A diplomatic, professional, and outgoing leader with the ability to build strong relationships with members and employees.
- A collaborative team player with experience leading, coaching, and engaging employees while maintaining high service standards.
- Confident in handling service recovery and resolving member concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions while exercising strong leadership and accountability.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and increased availability during peak periods and the summer season.
- Pro Serve Certification is required; Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification is considered an asset.

Additional Details:
This is a full-time position that reports to the Restaurant Manager. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
