Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Server to join our exclusive Private Members Club. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide top-tier guest services in a refined and elegant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and attentiveness. Prior experience in restaurant, banquet or hotel settings, along with knowledge of food safety standards, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders using proper serving techniques
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary
Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after service
Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, providing exceptional customer service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Uphold the club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times

Skills

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
Strong guest service and hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and food safety regulations
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with an upscale private club setting
1+ year of experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or private club setting
Experience with JONAS Club Software is an asset
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Smart Serve certification (required)
