Regional Field Sales Director – Automotive Industry
Location: Richmond Hill, ON (Hybrid)
Regional Travel Required Throughout Ontario + Occasional U.S. Travel
Full-Time | Permanent Leadership Role
First-Year On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000–$120,000
IMPORTANT: Formal Outside Field Sales Management Experience Required
This position requires direct experience managing quota-carrying outside Business-to-Business (B2B) field sales representatives who spend the majority of their time prospecting, developing business, and managing customer relationships in the field.
We are specifically seeking leaders who have conducted regular one-on-one field coaching, ride-alongs, territory reviews, pipeline reviews, and performance management with outside sales representatives.
Experience managing retail sales teams, inside sales teams, dealership personnel, service teams, call center teams, customer service teams, or large groups of B2C sales representatives is not considered equivalent experience for this position.
Applicants without formal outside field sales management experience will not be considered.
Automotive industry experience is highly preferred. However, candidates whose experience is primarily in dealership operations, fixed operations, service management, parts management, consulting, training, or general management without direct leadership of outside B2B field sales representatives will not be considered for this position.
Lead a Regional Outside Sales Team

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Field Sales Director to lead, coach, and support a team of Business Developers across Ontario while driving regional revenue growth and strategic customer development.
This is a hands-on field sales leadership role focused on:

What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop an Outside Sales Team
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support Business Developers throughout Ontario
- Conduct regular field coaching and customer-facing sales support
- Drive accountability through KPI management and performance reviews
- Support hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management initiatives
- Ensure CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy across the region
Drive Regional Revenue Growth
- Build and execute territory and regional growth strategies
- Collaborate with Business Developers on opportunity development and pipeline growth
- Support strategic customer acquisition and relationship development
- Identify market opportunities and competitive threats
Support Regional Sales Operations
- Deliver regular reporting to executive leadership
- Monitor forecasting, pipeline activity, expenses, and territory performance
- Coordinate closely with internal operational and customer support teams
- Ensure alignment between sales activity and company objectives
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 5 years of direct outside B2B field sales management experience
- Experience conducting regular one-on-one coaching and development with outside field sales representatives
- Experience leading geographically dispersed field sales teams
- Experience managing territory plans, pipeline development, prospecting activity, and field execution
- Experience managing quota-carrying field sales representatives
Highly Preferred Experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Experience selling into dealerships, repair facilities, fleets, or related industries
- Technical, industrial, hard-product, aftermarket, or distribution sales leadership experience
- Experience managing geographically distributed sales teams

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- CRM and sales enablement tool experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle required
- Valid passport with ability to travel to the United States
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Working Conditions
