Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a dynamic takeout environment, ensuring high standards of food preparation, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and experience in kitchen operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within a vibrant team committed to quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

Serve customers efficiently and courteously
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times
Support meal preparation during busy periods to meet customer demand
Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless food service

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred, but willing to train.
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and meal preparation techniques
Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who are eager to contribute to a lively dining atmosphere while honing their culinary and service skills.

Starting pay: $16.75 per hour, wage varies depending on experience.

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
