The Opportunity:
We are seeking a HR Generalist (Talent Acquisition) professional who is passionate about recruiting top talent and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. The successful candidate will be a people-oriented HR professional with a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a high standard of professionalism. This is a standalone role, requiring someone who is self-motivated, resourceful, and able to manage the full recruitment lifecycle independently. This candidate will be expected to travel on a regular basis to our locations throughout the lower mainland and Vancouver Island.
We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, who enjoy working with and helping people. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have a high sense of urgency, the ability to multitask with a pleasant demeanor. Must be proficient in English both spoken and verbal (other languages an asset) and be able to perform physical requirements of the job.

This is a full-time salaried position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, offering a base salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, a quarterly bonus potential, and eligibility for a comprehensive total rewards package through our self-funded benefits program, including:

Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers to identify workforce needs and lead the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting through offer acceptance.
- Create and maintain job descriptions, source candidates, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, participate in candidate selection, conduct reference checks, and prepare employment offers.
- Develop innovative recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
- Stay current with recruitment trends, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, attendance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, leaves, and offboarding.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare employment-related documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist with compensation administration, benefits programs, and HR reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR policies, processes, and employee programs to enhance the employee experience.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture across all locations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, showing a progressive increase in HR responsibilities
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline
- CPHR designation or actively working toward obtaining the designation is considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, technology and employment law
- Have an excellent working knowledge of all recruitment platforms including, Indeed, Linked In, Workopolis etc.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and manage competing priorities
- Proven self-starter with strong sense of accountability and integrity
- Demonstrated tact, diplomacy and discretion in handling information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature
- Legally entitled to work in Canada on an unrestricted basis
- Have a valid drivers license and a vehicle available to travel to our different locations
