Wascana Country Club - Pastry Chef

The management team and the entire staff are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to the members and their guests. The loyal and passionate members expect quality products and services, and the staff are provided the tools and opportunities that are necessary to achieve these results.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Manage inventory and packaging of baked goods for sale.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant setting, showcasing strong cooking and food preparation skills.
Expertise in baking and food handling, with a solid understanding of food safety regulations.
Excellent customer service abilities, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Proficient in cake decorating and packaging techniques, enhancing presentation and product quality.
A background in the food industry, demonstrating a passion for culinary arts and teamwork in a kitchen environment.
