Notre division, GLOBCO INTERNATIONAL, est actuellement à la recherche d’un(e)

Expert(e) en Tarification – Fret Maritime Import / Export

Relevant du Directeur du département maritime, l’expert(e) en tarification est au coeur de la

compétitivité commerciale de l’entreprise. Ce rôle spécialisé est centré sur la cotation, l’analyse

et la négociation des taux maritimes (import et export), la gestion des appels d’offres et le

soutien à la force de vente, dans un environnement logistique dynamique.

FONCTIONS :

Responsabilités

- Élaborer et soumettre des cotations maritimes compétitives pour les dossiers import et

export (FCL et LCL)

- Effectuer la recherche, la comparaison et l’analyse de taux auprès des transporteurs

maritimes (compagnies de ligne, NVOCC, agents)

- Négocier les tarifs, surcharges et conditions contractuelles avec les armateurs et

partenaires logistiques

- Analyser la rentabilité des soumissions et proposer des solutions optimisées en termes

de coût et de transit

- Soutenir l’équipe des ventes en préparant des réponses aux appels d’offres et en

fournissant une expertise tarifaire

- Maintenir et mettre à jour les grilles tarifaires, les contrats de taux et les données de

marché dans les systèmes internes (ex. : CargoWise)

- Analyser les tendances du marché fret maritime, les fluctuations des indices (ex. : SCFI,

WCI) et les mouvements des transporteurs

- Assurer la communication et le suivi avec les transporteurs, agents outre-mer et

partenaires pour obtenir les meilleurs taux disponibles

- Collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles pour assurer la cohérence entre les taux

vendus et les coûts réels

- Produire des rapports de performance tarifaire et analyser les écarts de marge

- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe

COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES :

· Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en logistique du transport ou expérience pertinente

équivalente

· Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en tarification de fret maritime import / export (FCL et

LCL) – exigence essentielle

· Connaissance approfondie des Incoterms, des surcharges maritimes (BAF, CAF, PSS, GRI,

etc.) et des structures tarifaires des armateurs

· Expérience avec les NVOCC, les co-chargeurs et les agents outre-mer – un atout important

· Bilinguisme (français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit) – exigé

· Maîtrise des outils informatiques (Suite Office, CargoWise ou système TMS – un atout

majeur)

· Capacité d’analyse des données tarifaires et des tendances du marché du fret mondial

· Sens aiguë de la négociation, de la rigueur et du détail

· Aptitudes organisationnelles développées; capacité à gérer plusieurs cotations

simultanément dans des délais serrés

· Esprit d’équipe, sens commercial et orientation résultats

Conditions de travail (Salaire : entre 65 et 75K)

· Poste permanent à temps plein (40 heures/semaine)

· Horaire : lundi au vendredi, de jour (8h00 à 17h00)

Lieu : Blainville ou Lévis

Our division, GLOBCO INTERNATIONAL, is currently seeking an:

Ocean Freight Pricing Expert – Import / Export

Reporting to the Director of the Ocean Freight Department, the Pricing Expert is at the heart of

the company’s commercial competitiveness. This specialized role focuses on quoting,

analyzing, and negotiating ocean freight rates (import and export), managing RFQs, and

supporting the sales team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and submit competitive ocean freight quotations for import and export

shipments (FCL and LCL)

- Source, compare, and analyze carrier rates from ocean carriers (liner companies,

NVOCCs, overseas agents)

- Negotiate freight rates, surcharges, and contract terms with shipping lines and logistics

partners

- Analyze quotation profitability and recommend optimized solutions balancing cost and

transit time

- Support the sales team by preparing RFQ responses and providing pricing expertise

- Maintain and update rate sheets, rate contracts, and market data in internal systems

(e.g., CargoWise)

- Monitor ocean freight market trends, index fluctuations (e.g., SCFI, WCI), and carrier

movements

- Communicate and follow up with carriers, overseas agents, and partners to secure the

best available rates

- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure alignment between quoted rates and actual

costs

- Produce pricing performance reports and analyze margin variances

- Perform any other related duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· College diploma (DEC) in Transportation Logistics or equivalent relevant experience

· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in ocean freight pricing for import and export (FCL

and LCL) – essential requirement

· In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, ocean surcharges (BAF, CAF, PSS, GRI, etc.) and carrier

tariff structures

· Experience working with NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas agents – a strong asset

· Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written – required

· Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite; CargoWise or TMS platform – a

major asset)

· Ability to analyze freight rate data and global market trends

· Strong negotiation skills, rigour, and attention to detail

· Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple quote requests simultaneously

under tight deadlines

· Team-oriented, commercially minded, and results-driven

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week)

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Location: Blainville or Lévis, Quebec
