The Management Team at ASH proves to always have the time to speak with you and they are eager to share their vast Property Management experience with you.   They work with you to ensure that you understand the expectations of the job and that you are happily working within their employment.  ASH Management Group exceeds in professionalism and have the best interest of their employees in mind.  Although a very busy company, Management offers leadership, direction, compassion and the ability to listen.  They recognize your skills and they work to enhance them  allowing you to grow, learn and advance.  And they top it all off with a sense of humour.  I was employed in 4 different industries during my working career and I had my best employment experience with ASH Management Group.   My only regret is that I didn’t find them first!  I would highly recommend that you consider their employment opportunities.  They are an awesome company to work with.

Working with ASH has been sometimes good and sometimes bad. It can be hard to get a clear answer from the office and there is a lot of turnover. You don't always get all the paperwork that's needed and rely on the property manager to deliver things to you unless you want to pay for parking downtown. Slow to pay you for cleaning services done between move ins and move outs, and low pay for cleaning with a very uncompetitive rental discount considering what needs to be done. Dealing with maintenance staff can be frustrating as they are unreliable and give attitude about completing work. Overall not the worst job, but the organizational part and the compensation aspect could be a lot better.

While I was employed with ASH Management for over 5 years, I found the company very easy to work for. Management or additional staff was only a phone all away and ready to advise you on any situation. There was opportunity for training and advancement in a few different areas as the need arose. Management was understanding and offered advice, usually with a joke as well. Although you worked hard, your work was appreciated. The company is also well versed in the property management industry and is very well respected. I would recommend a position with them.

They almost left me homeless due to a major lack of communication. And now wont talk to me but will keep me on call due to there stupidity. Also there seems to me that there is one to many hands in the cookie jar a lot of the times.  And for as for new hires they have little to no support for the new hires at all. Other people I know that work for them have been having issues with them as well. At lease I know am not the only one.

Unlike many places, ASH runs seminars to help individuals better deal with workplace issues. Management is in regular contact with field personnel and the office workers give full support to enable efficient running of the workplace. I have found they show concern for the employees welfare. The pay scale is very fair and the benefits generous.

My husband and I have worked for ASH Management on-site for over 10 years as have several other on site and head office staff.  Staffing longevity is in itself a testament to working for ASH.  Management staff have always been great. They value our opinions on matters.    Management take their time to get to know staff and have a genuine interest in seeing people succeed.

Ash management treats their employees like garbage.  One of the worst companies I've ever worked for. Upper management are bullies. When you try and express your frustration your immediately shut down and then micomanged to look incompetant.. stay clear from jobs at ash management. 

Managing apartments is flexible, good if you have children or another job. Lots of evenings and weekends and month end and summer gets really busy. You usually set your own hours and it is easy to work around other obligations.  Head office is really friendly and helpful but you don’t see them unless you really need to. Mostly phone and text.

I continued to learn every day and always found it challenging and enjoyable. I was in a branch office but communication with head office was good.
