What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
During my short time at the Brampton warehouse, I experienced significant challenges related to management and workplace support. Two specific Operations Supervisors struggled with effective delegation and clear communication, which often led to confusion and avoidable mistakes. Concerns raised by employees were frequently dismissed, and accountability for miscommunication was placed on staff rather than addressed at a supervisory level. There is no opportunities for growth. Training was inconsistent, I was trained by a colleague with limited experience only working 2 months with the company, and when I sought clarification from supervisors, I was met with condescension rather than guidance. Overall, the environment fosters racism, nepotism, favoritism and the environment felt unsupportive and discouraging, with management protecting one another instead of addressing legitimate issues. This contributed to a toxic workplace culture that negatively impacted employee morale and development.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is highly controlled and isolating. Supervisors closely monitor employee activity, including washroom breaks, and discourage collaboration by labeling peer assistance as a distraction. Favoritism is common, and systems appear to benefit management rather than employees. Many staff feel afraid to speak up due to fear of being targeted, which creates low morale, limited trust, and few opportunities for growth.

Don’t waste your time with accuristix. Its a place where people come to work and live it’s practically a second home . everyone is just sad and miserable but have basically just given up and will never leave. You are under valued as a person and you are under paid. You will be given a pat on the back Rewarded with pizza lunches and annual barbecues and 10$ gift cards
As a leader in the pharmaceutical world they are anything  but accurate as they try to convince you to believe. it’s an unorganized and toxic place.
 people come and go and management is always coming up with new job titles with big salaries for themselves. They can never get anything done the right way . Which is kind of ironic because that’s part of their mission statement do it the right way all the time. good luck getting any work done when your equipment constantly shuts down or they have to do system reboots all the time call, items are misplaced regularly and we were made to believe that clients are so unhappy that they are considering leaving, once a week you’ll get to stand around for 30 minutes to an hour having team meetings where nothing gets resolved. Safety is a joke in this company. Ask about some of the incidents that have happened and see what they tell you. 
You will be brainwashed into thinking you need to help out more and give up your time just so the company can meet orders and quota and keep their clients happy . you can say goodbye to your weekends and family time, the only time you will get to yourself is the time to go home make dinner watch tv and sleep and then you’ll be back in the next day to do it over again.


A typical day of work would start by me looking for my cart and getting a scanner gun. After I would go to my supervisor's desk and get some orders to pick. I would pick the orders by scanning the location, product and lot number then placing how many items the gun states into the order bin. When all my orders would complete I would have to put all my orders on the line where they would be packed, then return to the desk for more. I would repeat this until it was time for break. I learned a lot about how pharmaceutical companies work and a lot about the hierarchies in the work place. My co-workers were all older than me but I still enjoyed their company because they were very helpful and friendly. The hardest part of the job was that I was sometimes required to lift heavy boxes and work in the fridge for long periods of time. The most enjoyable part or the job was that I was allowed to take my breaks/lunch whenever I want but they had to be 2 hours apart, I also enjoyed the time I worked (10am-630pm)

When I began full-time the work culture appeared OK. Gradually it became more intrusive. There also appeared to be a lot of "undercurrents"at work - along the lines of hypocrisy. EG: I was initially told by my immediate supervisor there's a team spirit and its OK to get called by other departments or pickers who request my help. One day, I was called by one of the QA people to do some work for him, it ended-up taking over an hour to do the requested work and, during that time I didn't need to do any scan gun work. The next shift, when I got in, my immediate supervisor practically reams me out for the lack of scan gun work during the above time. I explained the situation to her but it didn't seem to either matter or register. From then on I wrote detailed info on my Daily Driver's Sheet along with the times the work was done. I was deeply disturbed by the contradiction and it was a constant factor in my work performance and attitude from then on.

This was a company that I enjoyed working at. My manager allowed me the space and time to get my job done, but was always available if I had issues I could't resolve.

It is a casual environment that strives for excellent customer service.

The company has a lot of potential to be the the number 1 choice for Inventory Management and Distribution of Pharmaceutical and HealthCare products in Canada. However,like most companies there are areas for improvement.

This company was well positioned for growth but not ready.

Lied to about the position I got hired for and only to be frustrated to the core that my health suffered in the end. Lazy people were getting promoted and ahead in the company and the people that were actually working get belittled, ridiculed and frustrated to the point of quitting and mostly because management in the higher ups are oblivious to what really is going on in the company.  They know who was the main mastermind in what was happening there but did nothing to stop them and was playing dirty between co-workers and management and management seemed to have fallen for it and as a result good workers were either getting fired because of this particular individual. For what is worth, work somewhere else and stay away from this company.

I learned how to use a radio beacon gun to pick orders as well as packing and sending orders.
Management for the most part is fair, easy-going, and helpful.
The majority of the co-workers were friendly and helpful however there were a few that viewed the work place as a high school.
The hardest part of the job was trying to pick orders after another picker made a mistake.
The most enjoyable part of the job were the frequent barbeques and team building activities

I loved my job,working the clients was the best it was stressful at times but it was very satisfying once the problem or issue was solved ,it stressful at times with all the dead lines and daily reports..Accuristix is a wonderful company to work for it’s just that the right people are not always put into the right place  or don’t have the right personality for there role you treat people with respect and you have a really loyal workers and happy workers,I have meet and worked with some amazing people at Accuristix and wouldn’t change that for anything

There was nothing in particular that one wouldn’t expect as part of any role that has targets or certain deadlines to meet.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good working environment and the culture was collaborative.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Managing a team and ensuring we are meeting SLA’s and providing excellent service to our clients.  There were the regular meetings along with projects and working with clients.

The culture is toxic at it's core. There's tons of gossip and tribalism. It's a small staff size, so it pervades the entire team. A lot of immature, unprofessional and miserable/ passive aggressive people. This is one of the worst group of "adults", I've ever been apart of.

That aside, the picking/packing systems at use are fantastic. No one is breathing down your neck. Tasks are fed to the user via RF scanner. The break policy is lax. Breaks are taken at ones leisure, and there are two paid 15 minute, and one unpaid 30 minute break.

The interview was brief, casual, and friendly. No dress code.
