You have to know how to play the system or sweet talk advisors and management to get any decent jobs here. Parts department are not fully trained and lack experience. English is not required to work here. Forced to work 6 days a week with only 2 techs off per weekend. Favoritism is key here. All techs do everything including apprentice work. Would not recommend this place for any technical trained technicians or journeyman mechanics. Approach at own risk. 

Non stressful changing conditions. 
Working within a group helps with all aspects of the sales steps.  
Management is willing to show and explain how to get the deal done in real time.
The hardest part of the job is the closing rate day after day because it takes a lot of tools to make it work out for the customer and for Alberta Honda employees, in order to make and clear a proper pay cheque.
The most enjoyable part is when the car rolls down the road and the customer is happy with there new vehicle and management is happy with the financial out come.

it was stressful due to month end deadline, did not get along well with one staff who had a bad work attitude.  The Accounting department all got along well.  We had a good leader except that other departments have some staff with bad attitude towards others.  All in all is a good place to work .

I loved it here, the only reason I left was because I had a baby.  Literally, I went home from work Friday and my baby was born on Sunday.  I miss the warehouse, I miss the dealership family, I miss shipping and receiving and knowing every part that came in and out of the warehouse.

The service department is NOT organized AT ALL. They will hire anyone and fire most people before their probation period is over. A lot of employees are related and they will pick their family members over a better employee.

Some days are stressful then others but if you just ask for help everyone is willing to help

I am a sales associate for Alberta Honda. I am responsible for selling all Honda products. My job is to sell and follow up with clients for future purchases. I was the top 3 in western Canada for sales.

I really liked the work environment taught me a lot about working with cars, also enjoyed having the same work schedule every week. Want to get another job like this.

A lovely work environment and a great dealership. Wonderful service from people who truly care about their customers and co-workers. 

Bad days truly came far and few in between

Drove parts to and from different body shop locations. Barely any breaks and they will not offer you a raise even after being there for years. Not a great place to work. Pay is low
