Do not work here at all costs.  The management steals your tips, they collect and redistribute it 2 weeks later.  Not only that, every time I got my tips it came in a rounded number...how is that possible when everyone's hours are different?  They get away with this because tips are not covered under Alberta Employment Standards so they scam you through this loophole.  They also take money out for breakage which is not allowed.  They also tried to not pay for my training saying they provided a tasting of the menu which blows my mind. I filed a complaint with AES and only then did they pay it.  No one else did this so they've been stealing thousands of dollars from their employees by not paying their training.  This place is toxic and management/ownership are thieves.

I worked back of house for a little over a year and found that the people were great. From dishwashers to sue chefs, there are great people that here. 

However, for the amount of work you do, and are expected to do, it just isn't worth it. Management care very little for you, and you really are just another employee. No matter how much you do, it isn't enough. You are frowned upon for taking breaks and lunches to do anything but smoke. 

If you like working like a dog, this is the place for you. If you have an respect for yourself, or any backbone, this place will break you if you stay too long. Find somewhere that will treat you like a human being, this place won't. 

TLDR: Great staff. Terrible pay, expectations, management, and stress.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The management was fantastic. I loved the staff I worked with and I learned some new,innovative cocktails.

Volume..sometimes it got overwhelming 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I appreciate staff to have each others backs.. I  like to know if I am drowning,  I have help. If I  see a teammate drowning,  I want to help them.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I I work hard.. I make sure my area is clean and prepped and when I close, it is in good condition for the opener.

Great atmosphere and great food, but that is absolutely all the good I can say about working at this shitshow. The front of house General management should literally be in jail, the owners are facing multiple sexual assault charges from former employee's and they only hire based on looks, so the turnover is through the roof. Worked there for just over a year and could easily spend another year just writing about how f***ed this place is. 
Seriously food is good though. Chef Gas kills it.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Location, lots of reservations and events

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The owners, contradicting each other with instructions. Cold coworkers, most of them are not friendly or welcoming. Very high school

Draining emotionally and mentally

Relatively good work environment, competitive for waitresses in regards to your table section dependant on how you look that day. The management is really friendly but often times takes "the customer is always right" a little too seriously.

The people who work there are very friendly. Was a nice place to work. While working there I almost always felt included in what was going on. Everyone knew how to take a joke and be playful.

Absolutely fun place to work especially once you become friends with co-workers. The management though is absolutely terrible. They do not respect their workers at all. Make you work overtime during Christmas then as soon as it's slow will cut you and make you work split shifts from open to close. They need to do more for their employees.

Very accommodating to your life balance. Low wages and slow to move up the totem pole. decent work environment . Fast response time for time off requests. Great food, lots of things to learn as far as cooking and prepping. great younger staff. Very Very Very strict Management.

The actual job itself is refreshing in its fast pace but well managed environment. The content to be learned can be quite overwhelming at first but is manageable with consistency. However, sometimes the pay would not always reflect the good work ethic you put in.
