A typical day would include; setting up bar, maintaing clean enviroment, maintain high energy at my bar, selling food specials, restocking.

I learned lost of communication skills throughout this job, and gained allot more convidence public speaking.

Beach Grove is poorly managed, and has LOTS of problems due to lack of effort by managers.

The most enjoyable part of my job was having a cutomer leave with a smile on their face knowing they will want my service again next time they come.

Every day was similar, I went in, prepared what needed to be done on my side for the dinner rush, and after that it was just about waiting for the rush to start. I learned a lot working here. I have learned how to be much more mature and responsible since working there. My co-workers were great. In the kitchen we were all like a huge family, we were all very close, and i always got along with all of my co-workers. There was never really a time in a shift i didn't like.

Learned good time management and customer service skills. The customer is always right mentality. Management was understanding but a little unorganised. Hardest part of the job was being constantly understaffed. Most enjoyable part of the job was meeting and speaking with members about anything from career advice to golf advice. Free golf and tips was especially a good asset for the job title.

This job was different, but in a very good way. I loved working outdoors and building relationships with members. It only lasted one summer only because I began a nursing program and needed to focus solely on that. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys golf.

Great job for young teenagers, work from march to November. 
Start every day at 6am and work to about 9-2. Worst part was not knowing how long your day would be, sometimes you would go in for a 3 hour shift and it would be 7 hours, and others 7 hours and it would be 2 hours or even 1.

This could be a great job if it wasn't for the clientele. 
Rich people harassing employees is common. Management- especially on the clubhouse side- is cruel and despicable. 
Hours can be unpredictable and the job overall can be unthankful.

Team was great; best part of the job. Work was fine,  some days were long and stressful. Some days the tips weren’t great, but other days they are really good. Management was great, always fit our schedules in and very personable.

Management likes to belittle their employees and over-work them. I worked 6/12 hour shifts with no break and no support. Management likes to snap their fingers and demand you to obey. I'm not a slave.

Great summer time position for students. Learn some responsibility and how to act around professionals. Developed a lot of confidence working with important people.

worked there for a few years, the work wasn't great but the people were. Required to work on just about all holidays and weekends. Just about all jobs are part time.
