- No room for growth 
- People are constantly quitting or getting fired without warning to the tune of 1-2 people a month, this place is a revolving door
- management will dangle the idea of growth but when it comes to increases, they find an excuse to avoid them "you haven't been here long enough" 
- management doesnt value employees and are extremely aggressive on a daily basis, if one of their kids ticked them off, you'll definitely know it and get the brunt of it
- management have extremely low EQ's bringing personal problems to work and using office resources for personal deeds constantly like getting out of texting and driving tickets
- Agents are made to feel entitled because management does everything they want even if it would be considered harrassment, bullying, or otherwise elsewhere 
- Salaries are the lowest in the industry, while the company is the largest in the industry by market share 
- no opportunity to negotiate regardless of experience, you could have 12 years of experience and will be hired at the same rate as someone straight out of college or worse highschool
- workplace is like a police state where you are screamed at for checking your phone (that's when management actually shows up to work) 
- cannot have conversations with coworkers beyond 2 minutes, big brother is always watching 
- about a year ago it was so bad that someone in the office would keep track of when a person walked in even a minute late then report that to management, for a corporate environment where staff constantly work countless hours of unpaid overtime having someone keeping track that you came in 2.5 minutes late 3 months ago really tells you that this place is a daycare and not a healthy office environment, fortunately this person took it too far and was eventually asked to stop by management.

Liaised with Facility Managers as to the SMG review process, initiating approval of pertinent vendor quotations prior to commencement of work thus, ensuring minimum turnaround time.

Consistently reviewed, analyzed, coded and resolved large volumes of "work order relater vendor invoices, ensuring approved criteria was consistently being met.

Interfaced with the vendor base across Canada, providing instruction as to proper invoicing procedure and ensuring specific problems/issues were addressed, solved resulting in a mutual beneficial result for the vendor as well as the client

I hired, trained and provided a "hands on" approach to the professional development of Property Services Representatives, expanding their knowledge of premises criteria in order that they be able  to ask the right questions, to provide the correct vendor and ultimately resolve the Client's daily or complex facility related issues.

Monitored and ensured that Help Desk calls were responded to 
promptly, courteously and professionally. 

Acted decisively within a team environment to ensure all facility issues were solved while adhering to National Premises standards and corporate policy.

Workplace was a daily hum of activity wherein all persons were cohesive and positive in their participation.

I've seen some good and bad management throughout my career, but CBRE is a whole other level of horrible. The first few years were great but went downhill after a complete turnover of management. They are indifferent, narcissistic, irrational, disrespectful, condescending,  hypocritical, egotistical with a hair trigger. You will be their scapegoat for their failures. So many double standards its impossible to keep up with the "rules", and policies have so many exceptions might as well not have them at all. They run an authoritarian, "might makes right" type of management, its not cooperative at all. If you're a Technician, they won't respect you, they don't believe you should be informed of anything, you're not worth their time.  In fact if you are more knowledgeable in a certain area, they will go out of their way to exclude you from the conversation. They are not a maintenance company, they are a maintenance management company, they hire technicians to do their leg work.  They are in fact just manpower agency for whatever client they hire you for.  I had a better relationship with my clients then I did with CBRE.  

I was hvac tech and first 4 months were really good was reporting to the director engineering he was supportive and was aware of the SOW. I was working on UPS account in whole Ontario. Was handling from St. Catherine to Barrie in south Ontario.In 5th month they asked us to report to someone in USA and that guy was nuts he was a handyman with no trade license and whatever I have interaction with him looked like he became supervisor because they couldn't find someone. He was rude and bossy He was pushy when I told him  dont know how to take out the urinal toilet and he said he did the same job in 30 mins. He asked me to open a toilet drain with 25 foot auger bafter that the was forced to do hardcore plumbing and handyman work. People in US dont need license for hvac plumbing and electrician as they said we have to follow same thing here. They said minimum 3 Work orders we had to do and the traveling time from home to site was not paid. Plus it was like you have to go in each site and hunt for work. The current management including supervisor and manager wanted to show client they will save millions of dollars by employing handyman not skilled trade people.

I am currently employed at CBRE Limited Toronto West a commercial real estate brokerage. However, I am interest in exploring other career options. My confidence in my qualification comes from my two years of work experience with one of the top performing industrial teams in Ontario. My daily activities ranged from creating proposals and disposition templates, along with the constant updating of branding changes. I have created and designed several sign requests and signage drafts. Everyday activity mainly focused on the creation of marketing flyers, newspaper ads, reporting letters for client, drafting and coordinating offers. I also have experience with property inspections, scheduling and coordinating property tours. I am highly proficient in Microsoft Office as well as adobe illustrator and reader. I work well independently as well as in a team atmosphere. One of my strongest attributes would be my desire to learn any skill until perfected. I can multi task or delegate well to complete the required project.

 In my time with the company, I have encountered a variety of mixed experiences. I have noticed certain policies that may be considered outdated or restrictive, such as restrictions on eating at workstations and the expectation to work beyond normal business hours. Additionally, there are regulations in place that prohibit personal items, including family photos, on desks. The company also places an emphasis on traditional values, such as encouraging employees to have lunch in the designated "cafe". It's a modest lunch room.

Finding a balance between work and personal life had been challenging, and I have observed instances of office politics and difficult interactions with some colleagues. In comparison to other organizations, it seems that this company may be less progressive in its approach.

The company's preference for return to the office over remote work, the emphasis on the "cafe", and office politics were factors that influenced my decision to leave the company. The company's culture does not appear to align with current societal norms. It is likely that younger generations may find the company unappealing.

My time at CARE was truly enjoyable, not only because of the work but also because of the fantastic team and positive atmosphere. The culture was welcoming and supportive, with a team that really valued collaboration and continuous learning. Everyone was willing to share insights, discuss challenges, and offer solutions, which made a big difference when handling complex refrigeration issues. It was a place where everyone took pride in their work, and that collective dedication fostered a real sense of camaraderie.

Management was equally supportive, always open to feedback and ready to provide the resources we needed to do our best. There was a genuine commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction, which created a motivating environment. The team’s focus on safety, precision, and accountability also made it easy to maintain high standards, knowing we were all working toward the same goals.

Being part of such a dedicated, skilled team was a highlight of my experience with CARE, and it made every day feel rewarding and enjoyable.

At CBRE  I’d like to say thank you for the memories, friendship and collaboration in building our Accounting Career for 5 years.  I’ve met many of different culture  in my travels and many more of them virtually and the corporate culture, work ethic and drive to success was amazing and humbling.
Special thanks to my Accounting team for putting up with me and for their dedication in servicing all of them as well all Clients (RBC , IO, CORP,) who had always partnered with us to achieve this hug high productivity an Accounting Department.

Very cut throat with no clear guidance from management. You have to play a guessing game to see what they want. Very stressful environment with no direction or career advancement

All of the bad things you'd expect from a male dominant office that caters to said males, overall toxic

working longer hours than your contract originally said, likely skipping lunch to meet unrealistic deadlines, more unpaid hours worked in order to meet unrealistic deadlines
