You will do well if you have a functional position within this organization.  So long as you're delivering the products or results of your role, you will find working here to be tolerable.  Their philosophy is very much "stay in your lane" and don't ask questions.
If you're involved in leading or organizing personnel, you will struggle to find information.  The core problem with working here is communication.  The habit of communication is zero.  You will struggle to get out of your niche and you will be typically "discovering" developments that are going on within your department and others.  Collaboration will be difficult to achieve as most individuals are expected to remain within their functional cells.
Uncoordinated activities are not unusual here.  However, you will struggle to find established tools, practices and procedures.  The expectations of performance are high, but are tough to define.  It will feel like you are searching for your targets.
I am reviewing this employer organization from the perspective of a mid- to high-level manager.  As a worker at the ground level, or at the project site, you will likely be able to fit in with the site personnel who are all genuinely trying to do a good job.  The management of the organization is presently attempting to develop itself into a larger entity, but you will need to have patience while they determine the direction in which they wish to proceed as a business.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part was the consistently excessive workload driven by insufficient administrative staffing. Responsibilities continued to increase without meaningful reprioritization, additional support, or recognition. While the organization emphasized teamwork and a “family” culture, this framing was often used to normalize unsustainable expectations rather than address workload concerns, resulting in ongoing pressure and burnout.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture emphasized teamwork and commitment, but in practice this often translated into ongoing high workloads and blurred boundaries. Limited resources and continuously added responsibilities created a demanding environment that was difficult to sustain long term. Over time, this negatively impacted morale and contributed to burnout and retention challenges.

I was hired and was sent to Sarnia for 2 days of training on their system.. then went to site and couldn't get answers for what I was supposed to do. What my job even entailed. I was given no direction. 
The people in the office are cliquey and two faced.  The main office girl sabotaged me and per others at IOL, she's done it to everyone who's ever worked there in an admin position. Withholding information, telling the boss I was stupid. They've gone through countless office staff. They fire everyone before they can even work there a year.

In a dynamic environment like the work site for Turnaround project is always full of demand for deliverables and a typical day is coming with its challenges. I learned new concept and practice.
Management style was good. Company culture was result-oriented.
Hardest part was the "evil of Covid 19" at the time.
Great part of enjoyment was the successful completion of the project.

Upper Management did not offer myself full time staff employment with benefits / vacation after working for them for a year. Started to look at what other opportunities were out there and found something that had more stability

I've worked for cims on and off my whole welding career.  They have always had great tools to complete the task. Safety is taken very seriously,  so I feel im able to go to work and do my task without being pressured to do something I'm not comfortable with.

As a welder it is nice to see they have a great QC/QA culture.  It's nice work8ng with professional thay allow me the appropriate time to complete my task

Great - they are good to their employees and create a culture of inclusion and diversity. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy - everyone is always busy.

The management there are rude and dismissive.  They are very cheap will try to short change you every chance that they get.  They are very unorganized and short staffed and will expect you to work extra for free and they don't provide you with all of the information you need.  You would think that a larger company would know what they are doing, but this place definitely does not.

 working a shutdown is always stressful and is made worse without clear direction from management. Poor flow of information and you always feel like someone is trying to sabotage your work. Change in QA about 2 years ago has made matters worse. Get in, do your job, take the money and get out. 

Excellent company to work for.  Great ownership and management.  They treat staff exceptionally well.  They provided very good camp rooms and flights to and from work
