Canadian Adventure Camp

I had such great summers there I went back for 4 years.    The camp atmosphere was great and the people running the place really care about the staff and campers.

I met staff and campers from many countries and some of us have stayed in touch with each other.

Can't wait until I have my own children and can send them to such a wonderful place!

The staff and management group prioritize the children and put their most creative and kind side forward when beginning work each day! Although the job never really ends, having the support of those around you makes it significantly more manageable. 
I have never experienced such a welcoming and hard-working community!

The overall camp is great from a campers perspective, however the management can be questionable at times. Overall it is a good experiences, how it is not a long term career

Wanted to like working here but I found the staff to be very rude, cliquey and not welcoming. Kids are great but days are long. No days off. Overall exhausting work for the pay. Location is beautiful though. Management tries to be supportive which is appreciated  

This job was quite a experience. I was working on a summer contract which started out nice. Until 2 employees quit, and the decided to not hire new people so instead of being 5 cooks we were only 3. Which caused me to have to work 10-14 hour days 6 The only thing this job thought me was how to work my butt off and not receive any compensation for it.

working with snobby kids was an experience and their attitude towards people working in labour class. I learnt patience..management was pretty good and co workers were very interesting. the job was very competitive and frustrating. we enjoyed all the activities at the camp for free

Great place for learning and to grow as a human. You get to have your own group of kids, in real wilderness, and connect with with everyone around you all while being on an amazing island with water ski and outdoor gymnastics at your fingertips! Thanks so much for an amazing summer!

If you've ever wanted to work at a children's camp, DO IT HERE! Looking after a group of kids can be the most rewarding feeling in your life, and to do it with the family you make at Canadian Adventure Camp makes it one of the best summers you will ever have.

Bad place. Horrible coworkers that are so rude to you unless you’re part of the inner system there. Very isolating. Lots of weird rules and rituals. Dark vibes. Bad food. Bad pay. Depressing. 

Wonderful place to work, surrounded by great people, nature, and working together to make kids summers the best they've experienced. Very rewarding summer position.
