Terile Management has left me feeling both frustrated and disappointed due to their incessant changes in pay structure. As an employee who values stability and transparency, these fluctuations have greatly impacted my overall work experience.

One of the most critical aspects of any job is knowing that your efforts are fairly compensated. Unfortunately, Terile Management has failed in providing this reassurance. The constant alterations to the pay structure have left me bewildered, making it challenging to anticipate my earnings accurately. This inconsistency has not only caused financial strain but has also eroded my trust in the company's commitment to valuing its employees' hard work.

The lack of effective communication surrounding these pay structure changes only adds to the frustration. As an employee, I have repeatedly found myself in the dark, unaware of the reasons behind these adjustments or how they align with the company's goals. A lack of transparency breeds resentment and leads to decreased motivation among employees who feel undervalued and ignored.

The impact of these changes extends beyond the realm of monetary compensation. The morale of the entire workforce has suffered due to the uncertainty brought about by the fluctuating pay structure. A typical day is busy in the best way. There’s always something to do, whether it’s organizing incoming shipments, coordinating deliveries, or helping the team keep everything running smoothly. The pace keeps the day moving fast.

What I believe I learned
Even with years of experience in moving, furniture, and appliances, I’ve learned a lot here—especially about inventory systems, logistics, and how to manage a warehouse more efficiently. The job has helped me sharpen my leadership skills and become even more organized and detail‑oriented.

Management
Management has been great to work with. They’re supportive, approachable, and they actually listen. If you bring an idea or a concern, they take it seriously. It’s refreshing to work somewhere where communication goes both ways.

The hardest part is probably the physical side, especially on heavy delivery days, but we have a great team and we always get the job done.

The most enjoyable part is the environment. I genuinely like coming to work. The team and the pace of the work make every day rewarding. It’s easily one of the best places I’ve worked in the appliance and furniture industry.

Working at Canadian Appliance Source was a difficult experience mainly due to the way management and workplace culture operate. While the company sells appliances and gives employees some exposure to the retail sales environment, the internal structure often feels disorganized and stressful.
Management communication can be inconsistent, and expectations are not always clearly defined. Employees may experience sudden changes in responsibilities or roles, which creates uncertainty and frustration. Instead of focusing on developing employees, the environment can sometimes feel more focused on pressure and control.
Workplace culture can also be challenging. Rather than a supportive team environment, employees often feel they are left to deal with issues on their own. Morale can be low, and turnover appears to be high. This makes it difficult to build stability within teams.
The hardest part of the job is dealing with the lack of clear structure and the ongoing pressure from management. The most enjoyable part is gaining some basic knowledge about appliance brands and retail sales processes.

I started my career with Canadian Appliance Source at the beginning of May and the direction and the company's very competitive pricing really makes selling simple in my work environment and also a very competitive wage along with a great team to work beside in my showroom and a great leadership and support team in our corporate office. I have worked in the sales industry for many many years they have to say that the company is definitely we everything right to make sure that each employee is treated fairly but also with respect and overall an absolutely great environment to work in where the hours are fantastic and the wage is extremely Fair!

I would recommend anybody looking to join this company that has any type of skilled to keep watch out for the job opportunities that are going to open soon across Canada as this Corporation grows but I'm so glad to be a part of it and loving the experience so far!

Have to say this is the first company that takes care of your lunch for the whole team every weekend weekly when you're on the sales floor and the company buys all the sales team skip the dishes weekly and we also have lunch as a team weekly together as well.

*** Always fixing sales issues with the sales department. Some salespersons only care about their commission and don't care about policies/procedures of the company. ***Customer care managers don't take calls and only good passing issues to be resolved to subordinates. CAS main steam all calls through Customer Care department and other departments only hide behind Customer Care department. Managers don't care when there is issues within the company when they advised by agents. Managers are just glorified pencil pushers at this company. ***Pray to God if you receive a damage appliance during delivery, the returns department will get back to you within 48 hours. Imagine if you have an issue with a fridge, it will take a long time before the issue will be resolved. Another department that at POTATO TOSS issues to the Customer Care department. ***Home Delivery really bad resolve delivery issues fast. Another department that at POTATO TOSSING issues to the Customer Care department. ***Customers calling to Customer Care department most of the time not being happy with service with their purchases.

I have been working with the company since 2021 as a Sales Manager, where I manage the branch operations along with actively contributing to sales. A typical day involves leading the team, handling customer interactions, driving sales targets, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Over time, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The role has helped me grow both professionally and personally, especially in managing people and high-pressure situations.
Management is generally supportive and provides opportunities for growth, although like any fast-paced sales environment, expectations can be demanding. The workplace culture is team-oriented and performance-driven, which keeps everyone motivated.
The most challenging part of the job is balancing management responsibilities with personal sales targets, especially during peak seasons. However, the most enjoyable part is achieving targets, working with a motivated team, and interacting with customers daily.

Hardest part of the job is likely floor installations as there's no former training and no manager on site. The Calgary showroom coordinator has helped me lots over the phone however. Most complex FM installs are trim kits/microwaves and OTR microwaves because a lot of the time the cabinets need to be readjusted.

There is usually good communication between the warehouse associates and AE's however this isn't always the case. I wish that AE's would communicate better with changes to an order( Ex, switching PU to delivery , holding products, etc.....)

I wish we had a manager in the Winnipeg Showroom because whenever we run into Cx issues, either the AE or warehouse associate is stuck try to assist the Cx when we don't have the accessibility to actual resolve an issue, so instead to must escalate the issue until when get a managers response and the Cx refuses to leave until the matter is dealt with.

Overall great company to work for despite the minor issues and setbacks. Every company has their own issues and I don't think that the issues I listed are a reason to not work for CAS


From the start, I enjoyed working with CAS,. I have done lots of different jobs through my years and here I enjoy coming to work to this day. CAS has the biggest sales support group, I have ever been a part of, as you are interactive with all employees and management on a weekly basis, it is something truly different. Being a young company the opportunity for advancement is there, and even relocation, as the company has helped its employee looking to move provinces and still maintaining them a job. I myself was promoted within 6 months of being with the company. - Only complaint is some stores work until 7 every weekday and takes away from the perfect work/life balance we had with old shift system. Other than that, amazing place to work and the opportunity for customers is fruitful, from walk-ins, Canada wide live chat, yes we can work with anyone in any province, hundreds of quotes for the go getters, phone calls from every region.
