DETAILS

Located in Lake Louise
Valid Canadian Work-Permit Required for International Applicants
Contract basis: Full-time/Seasonal
Full-time position, average of 40 hours per week
First 90 days: $20.00
After 90 days: $22.00
Summer Incentive Bonus: Receive $2/hr for every hour eligible regular hour worked between set period between May - October (conditions apply)

JOB SUMMARY

A Laundry Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests while cleaning and delivering linen to assigned areas under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager. Meanwhile ensuring that all rooms are to hotel standards and address all guest queries in a polite and friendly manor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate the washing machine, dryer and other machines
Wash cycles based on priorities
Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times
Sort all linen before wash cycle
Treat stained linen
Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning supplies
Fold bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc.
Pick up soiled linen from linen rooms and housekeeping carts
Deliver clean linen to linen rooms and housekeeping carts
Organize linen cart and linen rooms by item and size
Report any damages and deficiencies through internal procedures
Report Lost & Found items
Train new Team Members
Assist as Room Attendant when required
Maintain sufficient inventory of towels in the swimming pool area and gym
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry and linen rooms
Perform other related duties as required by the Housekeeping Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Energetic, flexible, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity
Friendly and pleasant demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
Previous customer service experience preferred
Highly organized and detail oriented
Work well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a team
Able to perform well in a fast-paced work environment
Good communication skills
Must be able to push and pull up to 100lbs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to complete multiple flights of stairs per shift carrying supplies

WORK CONDITIONS

Frequent exposure to elements ** outside/inside
Exposure to cleaning chemicals with PPE
