What is the best part of working at the company?
It is a great organization.  They cared about their employees and their needs. The best part of working at CST is the people who worked their.  CST valued their employees.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
CST strives for exceptional customer service and sometimes its stressful to maintain that level of customer service when dealing with irate and unreasonable customers. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly and everyone is treated like a family and you will feel that you are valued. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Extremely busy but bright and enjoyable  one.  Mostly helping others in resolving system or processing or customer servuce issues as they come up during the day.

The company had a great orientation. They spent  2 weeks or so preparing you for the role. However, the job became more demanding as the cases kept piling up. They wanted you to keep up with the quotas while reducing the amount of errors (fair enough). It also became apparent that you were a cog in the wheel and working a weekend every two weeks. That in and of itself is fine, but, they would find ways of trying to avoid paying you overtime. The supervisor(s) were micromanaging at times and tried to surveillance your moves a little too much for my liking.

CST Consultants was my second real foray into a professional work environment. As one of five student hires for the summer I felt immediately comfortable in the office environment. My manager and colleagues were all friendly, patient and helpful so it was without hesitation that I applied the next summer and was overjoyed to be re-hired. I worked at CST the summer after that and had a great time mentoring the new batch of student hires.

CST offers meaningful work helping parents and students save and pay for post-secondary education. The hours are flexible and the staff is very easy to get along with.

Been with CST for about 3 years now and it seems to always be improving! So glad I don't have to sit in an office 50+ hours a week and instead can work remote, make my own hours, and do lots of travel around Ontario. The company and people are great and the mission and company values are something I can actually get behind.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Helping young families. The ability to work from home and set your own schedule.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I do not find this position to be stressful.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Colleagues are very supportive. Focus is on helping clients set up a RESP that is comfortably affordable.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meeting with young families via zoom and educating them on all aspects of saving for post-secondary education.

This is a terrible company, the office is totally unprofessional and two of the ladies and best rude. The main lady I worked for refused to pay me for the hours I worked and would constantly be little me and would take advantage of me due to age. After I stopped working for this company I had to go through labour relations as I wasn’t paid what was owed and still have not been paid. This company has completely ghosted me and still owe me money. Terrible company do not contact them.

On a typical day, I get to  work at 8.30 am, login to the computer to  get  myself ready  to start work at 9am.

provide excellent customer service calls to clients, sales representatives and prospective clients.

Take a breaks in between and maybe attend team meetings or coaching sessions with supervisors and other  colleagues.

At the end of the day , logout and go home.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Work from home is great! Obtaining information about post-secondary schools and system.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Too many calls with questions one after the other.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Busy and fast oases most of the year.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Answering mant calls and noting files. Also processing cheques and approving resp.

A great family atmosphere as well as a great mission statement to help Canadian families save for post-secondary studies!  You are encouraged to seek out opportunities to advance in your career.  The most rewarding part of the job is helping the clients to acheieve their goals for their children when they reach the post-secondary level and graduate from their program.

Great team to work with and there are a lot of team meetings and one on one meeting with your managers to make sure you have all the procedures down right and it is a very productive environment. It gets very busy in the summer time June-Sept because kids are starting post secondary so be warned to have 15 calls waiting in queue and have a lot of angry customers due to the wait time.
