I have worked here not very long for just 18 months, but I still not have a insight of the regional management system maybe I am working under purchase dept. only.  The whole company philosophy totally unpredictable. I have work as an inventory planner for most Asian supplies except China, Japan, and Taiwan. My routine work is just schedule shipment and monitoring shipping schedule, and preparation all purchase orders and run related sales and inventory reports to make right order q'ty decision.  I have learned the fast pas working environment under procurement position and under pressure for competitive market. The management here is quiet conservative make sure all under their policy you should remember all roles their announcement. On time is priority for daily basic, and make sure no over time to complete your work, and to on top and cough up all reporting management required you to follow and fill. The workplace culture is quite conservative keep not private talk and not letting employee know your private life all the time will help you to stand there well.  The hardest part of the job is balance and agreement the order q'ty between you and top management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Completely lack of support and long working hours required outside of the office. Lack of responsibility from different teams even from the management team

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Often need different approval from the management team, but management team never respond to email, purchasing team is unwilling to take responsibility and often have conflicts with sales team.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic work environment and often requires workers to work outside of the office

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Help the team manage different product stocks count, ensure having enough stocks for the whole month. And help the sales leader submit different return merchandise request

Great place for new grads and newcomers to get experience in their profession. The workplace culture is close to heaven where everyone is actually respectful. I felt safe while working here and politics are almost non-existent. Everyone felt like family here to me and they are all dearly missed after i moved on from this place. Free food, good door gifts, birthday cake cuttings and people bring their cooking to the workplace to share with others. Very collaborative  and cooperative bwork environment. 


 The company throws some high quality company events and social activities to keep us engaged. The president wasn't a jerk, he cares about his people and there is a good executive team. You dont usually get good executives at other places. It really reflects  on the culture  depending on how leaders run the organization.

This company operates in a competitive industry but struggles with serious internal issues. Management is more focused on ego and self-image than on developing the team, which results in poor decision-making and lack of direction. The buying team is disorganized and unprofessional, while the delivery service is unreliable and creates problems for both staff and customers. The workplace culture is toxic, with little collaboration and frequent blame-shifting. Overall, this is not an ideal place for those seeking career growth or a healthy work environment.

The BC division has excellent Leadership which stems from the director down. As a sales person my Sales department manager has always worked closely with the director to lead our team to success. Positive, flexible work environment where you are always given the tools you need to succeed. 
Teams work together to help achieve KPIs and share knowledge/ideas. Great communication, and feeling that you are a valued member of the team.


Not enough training and management no patient enough to employee or teammates. Heavy work load with low pay and no break at all except 30 mins lunch time.

A well-known supplier which supply the seafood items to lower mainland and out of town customers (Asian Supermarkets) and mainstream supermarkets. A subsidiary of Loblaw Co.

Everything is nice except the salary part. Very low compared to other employers in the market. Also promotion cycle is unclear. Upper management is supportive and friendly.
