This job is fast paced  and high pressure, the good thing is they allow you to work from home in pandemic and they have monthly kpi and coaching session to improve your skills. While you need to put more personal hours sometimes on this job. Work-Life balance is hard to achieve. While they will provide more opportunities for career path to different department and increase salary if you can show your ability and performance. Management is strict and unclear hierarchy, while they are trying to improve their management way to good direction. Good opportunities for entry level jobs to get immigration experience and people are nice there, they got insurance, monthly reward, commission, and free lunch weekly for benefit. 

Management and escalation is very poorly managed. They care more about saving cost than their actual employees.  People are really scared to speak about management and their job security so no one speaks out. Certain person in escalation team is extremely passive aggressive . Do you have a question and need help? Well.. better hope you don't have the same shift as that person. Management won't do anything since that person is very attached to them. Feeling harassed by customers? Too bad, you're forced to stay in the call with the customer with little to no help from supervisors. Got involved in office politics? Say goodbye to your job. Minimum wage job with a potential raise after a few months. BUT they're going to be very hesitant on giving it to you if they don't like you. Not a certain race? Unlucky, they'll be criticizing your work more. This place needs a serious investigation. It says a lot that they're hiring new people nearly every month rather than investing on their current employees.

 Had a terrible work experience that left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. The work environment was toxic, with a culture of negativity and blame-shifting. It was difficult to get anything done without encountering resistance from coworkers or superiors who seemed more interested in politics than productivity.

Additionally, the workload was overwhelming, with unrealistic expectations and little support. I felt overworked and underappreciated, with little opportunity for growth or advancement within the company. Despite my best efforts, I felt like my contributions were largely ignored or dismissed.

Overall, I would not recommend this company as a place to work. The toxic work environment and lack of support make it a challenging and unrewarding experience. If you are looking for a fulfilling and positive work experience, look elsewhere.

They will train you and direct let you take calls
-> there is no guidance from the manager or any performance review.
-> they will direct fire you from work, no warnings , no coaching, how would an employee know if they are pewrforming well or not without any coaching or monthly review system. I worked for 3 months but worst management and worst higher authority. 
The CEO of the company is unaware of the lower management and whos hiring and firing. Do not go for interview if you have sense of risk for getting fired. No job security you can get fired anytime at working hours. They wont give you the reason why they are firing. WOrst comany ever!!!!!!!! big red flag!!! Big noooooo!!! It doesnt look like a company even!!!!

It's the most horrible company to work in. Please do not apply here. Invest your time to apply at better places. 
No structure in the company. 
No respect at all for employees. 
Your salary will remain $14.25 for forever. 
No growth opportunity at all. They will never allow you to take responsibilities other than your job duties. You will never get the chance to showcase your true potentials. 
They hire and fire people in the blink of an eye. 
I've seen people get demoted without a valid reason. 
Poor benefits.
Extremely poor management.
Managers don't evaluate employee performance properly. 
Everything going on in this company is very shady. 

 


I was interviewed for a senior-level position but was later demoted to mid-level. Unfortunately, my experience with training on the job at this company was the worst. The trainer seemed more interested in finishing the training quickly than ensuring I was adequately prepared to take calls. Regardless of the organization's level, anyone is expected to take calls when needed.
During the interview, they informed me that I might have to attend calls when the queue was busy. However, the queue is always busy because the call center lacks sufficient staff due to poor management.

- Shifts are 10-7 & 10 to 9 
- Agents are nice but so many leave due to poor management and treatment, which causes constant understaffing. 

- Agents are not valued. 

- Floor management is under constant pressure and never takes accountability! If they mess up! it's your fault. 

- Upper management is filled with old, outdated, and never-satisfied in-office workers. Who disregard floor management concerns. 

- When I left, things got to the point where agents were taking documentation of every negative interaction.

Avoid Working at Carrytel at all costs! The company does not care about its employees and has an extremely high turnover rate! Even new hires working in a less than a month will either resign or let go if they feel like it. The management does not care about feedback, tools are outdated, and pay is dismal. They hate happy people as well and will so their best to shut them off. Employees rarely speak to each other. So please do yourselves a favor and do not apply here!
Pros

Days are stressful due to workload and fewer agents
I learned how to not exhaust yourself on the wrong people
Management is ok but doesn't care if you have any concerns/issues
The workplace is quiet, basically, no one talks to anyone, does work and goes home.
My hardest part is fear of getting fired anytime without any warning specifically if one is south-Asian
