The culture at their head office in Winnipeg is far different than in Ontario.  The management style of the leadership team is outdated.  No interaction, appraisals or yearly reviews.  If you are working in a support to sales position, you don't have a manager and feel isolated when you constantly hear negativity from frustrated customers. You do your best but at times, you wonder how the company can operate or make a profit behaving in this manner when you are not the only supplier in the industry.  

Visits from head office are too short and don't see the whole picture.  They don't interact with some employees without being in the presence of branch management.  One online employee survey was done.  After a committee was formed to review the results, nothing was done to deal with the negative feedback.  No follow up from the committee or anyone in Winnipeg.

As an employee, you develop your own team with other departments with the focus of getting the job done in spite of current management support challenges.

The department manager is the road block that would prevent anyone from pursuing advancement from support to sales.  His leadership style at times can be abrasive and difficult to work with.  Suspected he was promoted to this role based on product knowledge and sales but lack people skills and leadership

If you are seeking a career, I would recommend this company on the short term until something better comes along with another company.

A Manitoba company that represents itself very well to the local economy with structured growth, a solid business plan and ample training opportunities.

Despite all the pride in the company's Manitoba heritage and global reach, the company suffers from low morale and below average pay scales.

In short a great place to gain experience and knowledge, but not a place to finish a career at.

only 4 others who work at the office so it's very easy to get along with everyone, as well if I ever need assistance I receive it. Many things to learn on the day to day basis like the fans, and grills the company distributes.

Company prefers to create turnover.. No opportunity 
to be taught the job properly! They use team player mentality loosely. Got rid of skilled positions and replaced with lower wages.
Lower skills.

The Toronto office has a very poor culture, They have a mature staff which lends experience but have a difficult time keeping recent grads, My experience was not good,

had a wonderful time working for EH PRICE and returning to the company after a few years away.  rewarding to know my contribution mattered.

Not an ideal place to work, pace is fast , training was not provided. Difficult place to understand, staff seem lost and without direction. Office and warehouse are extremely polarized, not a team oriented place.

Very quick pace, management was great when it came to my questions. It was very enjoyable to file any documentation and deal with customers whom entered the office.

Accustomed to people who is dedicated and very hard work. A place wherein competition is high. With its huge working area, people are very busy to accommodate their own deadlines.
