This company is in desperate need of a complete management overhaul. Nothing here runs on structure or planning—everything operates purely on convenience, shortcuts, and last-minute decisions. There is zero clarity, no proper direction, and absolutely no accountability from leadership.
Employees are unclear about their roles ans responsibilities and they have mere training

The work culture is extremely poor, employee morale is at rock bottom, and there is no motivation or support of any kind. Management fails to communicate, fails to lead, and fails to create even the basics of a healthy workplace.

Unless the entire leadership mindset changes, this company will continue to struggle and drag down its employees in the process.

I match sort check files if the data are wrong or duplicate assign in the account payable. I learned to be always focused on matching their files because if there's an error they will know but they will always correct me and motivate me to do good next time. They have a good harmony and very organized management. Co-worker are all friendly respectful and polite. The hardest part of my job is making errors when in comes in matching some files because some have same code but different dates but I already master it its just you have to double check first all the data before you match. The most enjoyable part of my job is when I learn new things so that it would be easier for me to finish my work with the help of course of my co-workers.

Old school equipment with matching pay at the head office. Work is stable but the chances of advancement are non-existent. 

Management is on the verge of retirement as are many employees. Attitude is very much in the late 70's or early 80's. Training is hard to come by as staff want to protect their job and position. Not a modern culture here. That should change shortly.

Pay is not enough to survive with unless you have a spouse or a second job. Hopefully that will change when the management does. 

Most folk are pleasant and work hard as a team to get the job done. There is a good spirit here.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. A lot of calling and dropping in on customers.  Cold calling

Responsible for accurate HVAC system design and adhering to current building codes. Designing systems for each contractor to their own preference. Producing accurate material lists and placing orders to the warehouse for customer pick-up.  Standing as a technical support specialist and advisor for customers, contractors and in-house staff.

My day started at 6:00 in the morning and had three breaks during the shift. 
The crew is very nice, friendly and helpful. I have learnt a lot working at Ecco. Overall my working experience at Ecco was great.
The company celebrates every small achievement and big achievement. Gives treats to each employer of the company for their achievements twice or thrice a month.

I have about 10 years in and have seen a lot of ups and downs.The company has new leadership up top and is advancing our position in the market.Good people great product

The IT department at Ecco was very small for such a large business. One had to wear many hats throughout the day. Fromprinting reports, helping a person on the phone with their computer, a site down and implementing new ERP project.

Company was amazing to work for when I started but has since changed hands and all the bonuses and incentives are gone removed for profit to the big guys. Management is a joke and nobody knows what they’re doing, sales guys are lazy and work has been spars for quite a while now.
