There’s a very strong toxic corporate culture. Unless you’re part of a certain group, you will criticized, micromanaged, and discouraged. The toxicity comes from top down, so upper management build it and lower management implement it. There is no understanding for new employees, if you don’t have a total understanding of the entire company in a week then you’re already behind. There’s always turnover, a new person/team every month. If you do something wrong even your managers will not support you to fix it, they will instead throw you under the bus. There’s no encouragement for innovation. The pay is below industry, unless you’re part of the inner crowd then you’ll be paid even more than people above you. Benefits are not that great either. There’s no help or assistance. If you go to your colleagues for guidance, they are too scared to answer because they don’t want to get something wrong and then be thrown under the bus. Even if you get something right, there’s no appreciation or empowerment. Just avoid applying

People you work with is the only positive. The management team is the worst. Has no idea what the customers want and what the market demand is. Executives stay in their office looking at spreadsheets setting unachievable budgets, setting unreal goals, pushing teams with no support or recognition from thier end. They keep on saying they provide stability and that is so NOT TRUE. They don't fill positions and let people go constantly as they never meet goals. Setting unreal goals and not supporting the people is thier way to deny bonuses, raises, and growth opportunities. The CEO and the President have no clue what the current trends are. The company is run with the mentality and practices from decades ago.

The staff in general are great people, but the management leadership is something totally different that I have never seen anything like that before. They have a very high risk taking appetite when it comes to running the business, they were doing many too things that borders on illegal just to make more profits and improve the corporate next quarter results. In that regards there is not much respect to smart, hard working staff or loyalty.I would not recommend a friend or family to work for this organization.

I had a chance to know and work with good people, but the company doesn't care about you, similar to most of the big companies out there. They didn't even pay for my training after 3 years working for them. That means they care zero about you and your growth. Their goal is only to profit the most!  Yes, it's a cheap company. And the management is lost. They don't know what they're doing and how to improve the customer support experience and clarify the goals of the company overall. You're just one of their machines and when they don't need you, you'll be dismissed.  


Upper management clueless on how to keep employees and customers happy. Little thought to employee satisfaction and growth.  Company focused on earning revenue through acquired licenses and support contracts with little focus on growing and evolving product lines.  Implementation and Support processes are outdated and there is no incentive to improve them.  Part of Enghouse Systems out of Canada.

Good place to learn and work in a team-based environment that followed the software development life-cycle.  The company at that time was made up of a group of young/new graduates who enjoyed working and occasionally socializing together.

I was with ESL for 13 years and very much enjoyed working with the companies vision and the people locally and globally to execute that vision. The company grows via M&A so every year we had someone or something new to work on.

The Networks division is made up of several disconnected products that were added via company acquisitions. There doesn't seem to be any interest in further developing the product line.

I love this company. The pay rate is also good. The management and supervisor takes care of the employee. I feel being valued at the company. I highly recommend to work in this company for anyone.

Lots of work, and minimum wage, you have to work overtime almost every day but the salary does not cover living in Toronto.
They have reimbursement for CPA which is the only good thing i found
