The environment and staff are generally very pleasant to be around and work with, however alot of poor management brings the place down as a whole and ultimately destroys the experience and quality of work place, especially over time. They tend to provide generous wages (atleast while I worked there) and provide a relatively flexible schedule. Although communication with the manager seems quite rocky as there were many cases in which my colleagues would feel like they were talking to a brick wall when they were just trying to call a day off in advance, or they hurt themselves on the way to work and she would be utterly unphazed by the news as if she didn't even listen to what had happened. Also nearly everything in the store is broken or half broken and the management (who doesn't live in town) does little to nothing to assist the supervisors and staff in dealing with the issues. Not to mention the place is essentially a sports bar restaurant that's been condensed into a drive through so any meal there is nearly $20 for a regular sized order and any decent sized "rush" will cause the food to take 10minutes+ to prepare and the majority of customers seem incapable of understanding that. Overall it's not the worst place to be but there's certainly better out there.

Worked there for almost 2 years, no benefits no raise. They would not listen to their employees concerns since the management’s egos are the only thing the cared for. Pay-check is always late even up to two weeks. Deliveries they forget to order things so we have to close the store for sometime; we also get no pay whenever we have to close down the store because the owner forgets to pay either gas or electricity. They never appreciated the hard work of their employees and only sees the little mistakes we sometimes do. I do not recommend working here if you value your time and mental health.

Work can be slow but with the right employees it goes quick. I learned how to cook some near perfect BBQ food. The management was considerate for most of the time and attempted to the best of their ability to build a schedule around your life. It gets considerably busy during the summer, and really put us to work, communication between employees was sometimes spotty. The best part of the job was serving people with the best of my ability, and being rewarded with a great atmosphere in the store.

Was a great place to work if you enjoyed talking to customers and making great food. Staff were nice as well. Management was terrible always felt like no matter how hard you worked or the extra tasks you may have done to spruce things up were never appreciated. They would try and lie and promise each person that they would be the next manager just to pin everyone against eachother.loved the people and experience hated the people in charge. I must have left at the right time cause a couple years later they closed down.

love doing the job so much fun times,
no dull moments everyone is working happily.
learned many things especially in dealing with different kinds
of customers,and dealing with lots of restaurants problems.
Difficult maybe for me is dealing with customers complaint
always wanted to make sure that they leave our premises 
happy and wanting to come back again.
Enjoyed every station especially in doing the burgers and customers will acknowledge your hard job.

I learned nothing cause for me my job is nothing change as mag previous job

The hardest part of the job is the im the only cook at mg shift but i enjoy it

working in fatburger is nice. everyone is friendly and approachable.  I enjoyed working here because every one is like a family to me. I learned that if you enjoy what you doing you will never feel tired.

It was my first job when i arrived in Canada i learned a lot of knowledge on how to handle different situation.I made a lot of friends,regular customers and it was really productive.

Being part of the Fatburger team is very challenging, yet I always had fun and enjoying environment with the team and  also I spend productive day in the store.
