A typical day at work starts after they hire you as a machine operator and end up doing a stressful cleaning job, lifting heavyweight (more than 80Kg) among all the floors on a daily bases. Friday is the day that you do more cleaning jobs including all the machines using certain types of chemicals. Doing your job is not enough the workplace culture is purely racist when you exceed the expectation and become close to the management, they will use all kinds of harassment to make you resign. Sooner or later your health will drop and you might end up having skin rashes due to wearing their business dress and using the chemicals or even burn your hands with the press machines.

workplace environment is great, not your typical construction company atmosphere so if you're too "stuffy" or looking for bureaucracy then not for you. If you are looking for a close team atmosphere with some light-hearted practical joking then definitely the right spot.
Jobs are handled professionally and timely, never a problem getting paid.
always one of the highest paid in the industry.
Great management team that actually cares about their employees!

Were unionized twice but field staff actually de-certified both times to remain an open shop!

Staff are required to demolish buildings that are deemed unsafe do to asbastos. the hardest part of the job was wearing the protective equipment, they can get very hot during the summer months.
I learned about safety in the work place, this learning experience can be transferred to my home life.
I enjoyed working with a team of knowledgable individuals that tought me a lot about safety in the work place

Show up at the job site. Have a health and safety talk, meet with the consultant and figure out what is contaminated and then start to excavate soil and then start digging. I learned a lot about what soils are contaminated and what aren't and using the machinery and getting training for it. Co-workers on the job were amazing got along with everyone.

I enjoyed it there until things started to change  to worse and no acknowledgement of above and beyond  work . No organizational structure for coordination with work 

Managment just wants yes men.

Temporary workers are lazy and as an operator you will be doing half their job aswell as yours. Half of them are college students who routinely fall asleep on their breaks and don't get fired.

Very uncomfortable working atmosphere.

High school immaturity from management. 


Staff in field are rude and not trust worthy.  No disciplinary actions are even taken or enforced.

Never an encouraging word when you've done a good job but when you make a mistake supervisor will jump all over you. They never take suggestions from workers and too many people trying to be the boss.

a good place to start your work experience, you can grow in the company but the hours are not realistic. over working isnt healthy espcailly on contenental shifts. 

A great place to work! you get paid well and the work is easy to manage, lots of perks as well.  Project managers direct teams well but more disciplinary actions need to be applied when required.
