This company pretends to value their employees. They made themselves seem like a career but the pay is very low. Unless you have another source of income, you wont be able to afford to work here in todays economy. Company cares more about the people that built the company, and have been there to get it off the ground rather than the future/well being of any of their new emoloyees.. I accepted an insultingly low hourly wage to get my foot in the door 2 years ago and have had two raises that when combined equal 80 cents more an hour than when I started. The company is understaffed yet still unable to "fit" an appropriate raise in the "budget".  Micromanagement from upper management makes it hard for the good manaent at store level to have any real say. Id say skip this application if you are looking to be a valued employee in your work place or be self sufficient. Big turnover rate as nobody can survive on these wages or salaries as a single person or without multiple jobs...so you're usually training someone new with little to no experience for no training wage! The only benefit is that you never have to work past 5pm. Fun fact : the only people who don't use public transit at the company is all of upper management. Imagine that. Had I of known how cheap the company was in terms of wages I would have spent my time applying and building my reputation somewhere that values their employees. This company has been a learning curve for me about finding a good employer as it begins to feel very toxic jumping through a companies hoops to see no meaningful benefit to your own well being.

A typical day has one cashing out hairstylists with their products, answering questions about the products, especially the electrical gadgets that are sold there.  Store level management was great, management by head office is micromanaged which is never productive as far as I am concerned.  The hardest part of the job was trying to get more hours when I had been promised full time, or as close to it as possible, but then being slashed to 20 hours or less per week once my three-month probationary period ended.  

A typical day would consist of completing in person and over the phone orders for pick up, dealing with customers in person and over the phone, selling education classes, stocking and facing the shelves, contiuning education, learning features and benifits of every product, prepairing the daily task sheet for the store employees, and over seeing the daily running of the store.
The best part of the job was seeig all the customers, helping them with their needs and listening to them.

Working for maritime beauty is very upbeat and fun! You do not just feel like a number to them. They always take the time to make sure all of their employees feel valued and go above and beyond to make it known that you will be compensated for hard work. It is a company that you can genuinely feel cares about you and your well being. It’s a fun atmosphere where clients become family! I have nothing bad to say about working here. 

A typical day at work would be meeting clients daily, reports, and business planning. Learning to deal with situations on the fly of the moment and having solutions to issues that might come up. Working with a team that consist of Customer Service, Manager, and purchasers. The hours were long though I loved what I did. Had great relationships with my customers that I hope that will last after leaving the company.

A typical day would start at 730 am I would play the messages from the night before and answer any emails. I would process contracts and score using Equifax. Once the contract was scored I started the installation requisition and got a date confirmed with the customer. I answered all incoming calls, faxes and emails and provided customer service.

This place would be good if it was not for the warehouse manager. The warehouse is not setup efficiently and they do no take suggestions. You lack the basic essentials to do your warehouse job: good pallets, boxes, olfa knives, tape guns. There is no fire supression system, no fire drills and part of the warehouse is UNDER the parking lot and it leaks from the roof which shows they just don't care about anything but profits.

I thought working here would be great. Products I love and a good location. But after a few weeks I realized why there is such a high turn over. Management does not care about you. You don't get your legally required 15 minute breaks and you will be asked to do way more than what you are paid to do, while being told that you should be doing better. 0/100

Easy job. Great coworker's. But its not worth your while if you dont have a second source of income. Management doesn't provide all necessary training to ensure employees can do their job effectively. There are numerous daily safety violations.
Warehouse lacks proper air circulation. Extremely hot year round.

In early morning started the operation, very nice and focus on my job.
I learned so many thing about warehouse operation. Sometime was very smooth and no competitive. When they went ont the rennovation, and we have to up-down .
