This place was not a fun place to work. Half the time, I was stressed, angry, and crying. The management is awful, especially the one supervisor! It is very competitive. If you can’t get a sale in your first day, they start to look at all your calls, live and not. They are basically on your back until you get 10 sales a day. They expected too much from you when you are a NEW employee. They will belittle you and make you feel worthless and like you can’t do the job. I would personally stay away from this company. The job itself is great, I enjoyed the work and you get a fair pay, but the rest just is awful!! You also get no time off!! You work 5 days a week, 2 days off.. if you miss any time, you have to make up those hours without going into overtime. There is no vacations or anything. I had 2 SCHEDULED days off, and they were all mad because I was supposed to be working when I get those days off before they offered me a job. Managers do not communicate with each other and it’s a mess! Stay away!! 

My experience at Sydney Call Center was disappointing. The work environment was highly stressful due to poor management and a lack of clear communication. 

There was minimal support from supervisors( they don't even hesitate to blackmail you), even from the management, making it difficult to succeed, and the pressure to meet unrealistic targets created a high-turnover culture. Work-life balance was challenging, with inconsistent scheduling and limited flexibility. Despite the effort put in, opportunities for advancement were scarce, and recognition for hard work was lacking.

Overall, I would not recommend Sydney Call Center for those seeking a supportive and well-organized workplace.



A day at work in MCI is always a new day to start from the beginning with new ideas and hope to get better results for the company.Along with other team members and supervisors it’s a great workplace having a competitive environment always make me try harder for my team and the company as well.Its a place where we make good relationships and bonding with our customers because each and every individual is unique and they are special for us.From the first day of training till now I have understood this thing very well.

The ability to work from home, easy to access files and good teams who work hard and get competitive to get those sales

When you get a client who is angry that we keep calling

Sitting at my desk, making outbound calls and chatting with various clients

Absolutely a garbage company that will lie to you and tell you what to hear to get you hired. Nobody knows what they are doing and all they care about is money. They'll cut your hours without pay and expect you to make up any hours you miss because of sickness or medical appointments, even if you present evidence, and you are an hourly worker and they'd still cut your hours even if you are trying to make them up. If you go against them they'll find any excuse (often going back weeks) to terminate you. Which is what happened to me. 

I’m just starting my journey with MCI! So far it’s been a really positive experience. The Information is straight forward and easy to understand and follow! I like MCI’s approach to setting up WAH programs!! I’m excited to learn more and grow with this amazing company!

Management and supervisors are not on the same page, changes constantly on call quality which makes it very difficult to remain confident on your calls. The job is too demanding at onstar . Also can never get time off work to see my family . I have worked many years and the onstar account as been one of the most challenging places I have worked. 

Continually adding more to the work load and no increase in pay.
Continually changing the metrics to earn bonus making it increasingly difficult to attain.
Training on new functions is abysmal, equipment is antique, if equipment fails then employees are required to make up the time. 

It’s an okay job to start out your career in sales. Some supervisors are good some seem a little passive aggressive. 
I would give it to them the training period was great the trainers were really good. 
Equipment fails way too much and if it takes them weeks to fix it you aren’t compensated for the time off. That’s one thing that I would needs to be changed 

Their interview process is thorough and meaningful. Puts you right on the spot and makes you use your prior knowledge, experience and instincts to solve the given problems. It was fun and challenging. I loved it!
