When I first started at Mondo, I didn't immediately think I'd enjoy it due to the inexperience I had in the field of lead generation. However, thanks to the encouraging and supportive work environment provided by the rest of the lead generation team as well as the management, I found myself progressively enjoying my work with every week that passed. I've learned numerous communication skills that I know I'll be able to utilize for the rest of my life.

As a lead generator, I'm tasked with calling businesses, qualifying them for a corporate reduction, persuading and clarifying when applicable, and helping them begin the process of reducing their credit card processing rates.

The most difficult part of the job was having to be more comfortable with being firm and persuading others, as well as calling people I've never interacted with before. After a couple weeks, I was able to completely overcome these fears.

The most enjoyable part of the job is the relaxed/comfortable work environment, along with the numerous bonuses/prizes being implemented weekly.

All in all, I can confidently recommend Mondo as a place of employment.

Working here had a negative impact on my mental health. There was lots of pressure from management to hit my quota which kept me up at night and left me feeling anxious even outside of work. A typical work day involves cold-calling 400+ businesses per day and using manipulation tactics to try to get them to agree to something they otherwise wouldn't be interested in. It's a very draining job with low levels of satisfaction or reward.  Additionally, the market for point of sale machines is oversaturated so the business's they cold-call are also getting the same calls from competitors every day. Employees have to deal with the verbal abuse that arrises from this frustration on a daily basis.

If you are working here I would strongly advise you to  seek employment elsewhere.

When I first started at Mondo I didn't really think much of the job. That being said, after a week or so, I realized the potential to move up on the ladder quickly. The job itself is very manageable and you get into the flow of things very quickly. After about 5 weeks I got promoted a level up. Which was great as it's more pay and larger commission bonuses. They are also understanding if you have personal issues and try to work with you as professionally as possible. Overall it's a friendly work environment and they even provide free coffee and snacks throughout the day. And a discounted metro pass for the people who take the metro to work. Full benefits after 3 months which is very quick as some companies take 6 months. 

I worked at Mondo for a couple of years and genuinely enjoyed my time there. The relaxed, upbeat atmosphere made even the most repetitive tasks feel manageable, and the friendly, supportive team really made a difference.

What sets Mondo apart is the management. They understand that call centre work can get grueling, so they go out of their way to keep you motivated with bonuses, fun rewards, and a real focus on employee well-being.

On top of that, Mondo offers great growth opportunities that far exceed the typical call centre experience.

I had a fantastic experience working at Mondo Payments. The team spirit was exceptional; everyone was supportive, which created a great work environment. The managerial assistance was top-notch; my manager was always available to provide guidance and support whenever needed. Like any other sales position, this job requires a lot of discipline. The overall environment is good. Most of the people working there are very friendly and helpful. The managers are nice to your face and act professional enough. There is an extremely high turnover rate. (The highest I've seen working anywhere) They will fire you via email without warning within 7 business days if you do not start hitting targets (6 daily) People get fired every week. I did not meet one person who had been working there longer than 5 months (outside of management)  One piece of advice that I have is to be prepared for this type of job. It's very mentally draining. You make about 300-400 calls daily and half of them are verbally abusive. 

I came across this position while searching for an entry-level sales role, and it ended up being a fantastic choice for me. 

Like any sales job, it required dedication and persistence, but it was incredibly rewarding. During my time there, my speaking abilities, social skills, and confidence grew tremendously. The manager was super chill, always available to support us, and really made the job fun, keeping the atmosphere positive even on challenging days. The team and work environment were incredible—motivating, supportive, and filled with people who made each day enjoyable. This role laid a solid foundation in sales, a skill I know will benefit me for a lifetime.

You can put your all into getting around what the quote is (5) out of nearly 300 calls a day and some days you won't even pull 5. If you can't reach you're daily quota most of the time, you will be fired. Even if you're doing amazing, nearly 10 a day etc., if your attendance isn't perfect, you're fired! Overall stressful yet productive. There are opportunities for advancement and the team manager is very motivating and provides business lessons on the job. 

Lots of work to do and lots of earning potential if you perform well.  Lots of phone calls & paperwork, persistence is a plus.  Must be able to detach yourself from the occasional hostile character over the phone.  The clients have almost zero loyalty to the companies selling the product so being persuasive is essential.  Customers will bounce from different providers extremely often which creates constant opportunities as well

Mondo is managed/owned by people who have no management experience and it shows. The employees are unhappy and not treated fairly or with respect, if you’re a glutton for punishment or enjoy humiliation send your CV to Mondo, if not then I just saved you from a negative experience to say the least.
