The Naramata Inn is overflowing with talented and passionate individuals who strive for excellence in everything they do. 
The management and ownership are committed and care about their teams. 
The culture is one of accountability and team work. 
It is a very fast paced environment but one with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. The management is extremely open. Closed doors do not exist at the Naramata Inn. The culinary philosophy of "hyper local, hyper seasonal" is something that everyone can be proud of. 

Fun place to work! Great colleagues and management. Good perks to show appreciation for staff like food trucks, competitive wages, staff meals, and understanding of personal lives and that staff are human inside and outside of work. Not enough support staff for the restaurant year round for the cost to guests to dine there and the high level of service expectations. It’s really hard to give guests a positive memorable experience without those core team members present. 

Thats all I can say as it seems amazing on the outside but very disappointing place to work.  Very stressed management. The culture is a tattletale culture.  If someone questions something or holds people accountable for doing their job the will be fired.  The job is easier hence why the tips are average.  The food is amazing and there is potential.

Just remember dont upset the season staff.  

Would recommend for seasonal employees but not for locals looking for more then a summer job.

I worked here for about a month and a half before coming to my senses. I have never worked anywhere where I have felt nervous to go to work every shift, until this place. Management is an absolute nightmare to deal with, people rotating in and out too often, food seemed okay but overpriced & not enough teaching tools as a newcomer. Had to open Eliza by myself after 3 shifts. Looks good on a resume though and was able to get me a way better job

Management - All the department leaders are tremendously hard working and will work with their team to ensure that we create an experience for our guests

Culture - One of the best places to work where everyone from the groundskeeper to the dish hands and chefs feel appreciated. 

Learning - A culinary journey where everyone has the passion and enthusiasm to present the best of the best food in the Okanagan

The Naramata Inn is a textbook case of how to badly run a business. Senior management is incompetent and delusional. The workplace culture is toxic and staff turnover is high. If you appreciate being treated with complete lack of respect by by the owners and management, this is the place to be. It is not worth the drive.

The management company that took over running the operation created a very toxic environment 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic, stressful, and with no sense of accomplishment

Due to the incompetent and delusional senior management, the Naramata Inn has a thoroughly toxic  work culture. Staff turnover is high. There is a complete lack of leadership and the company vision changes regularly. Simply put, this establishment is not worth the drive and a miserable place to work. 

I felt really valued as an employee here. Management and coworkers really care about your well-being. I get paid very well too. We get staff meals every day as well and sometimes we get staff appreciation days where food trucks will come for staff meal. Feels safe to communicate with anyone and flexible work hours.

Working there was once in lifetime experience, working with mostly celebrity chefs and all big deals of Canada cheffing community ll def leave you with lots of experience that ll def help you in future. Most beautiful place to work
