I worked for this company about four years ago.
 I randomly remembered it and thought I should comment. 
On the bright side, people are approachable and helpful. I had an answer to every question. Plus the CEO is down to earth with an open door policy. It's a family run business so there is that nice touch to it.
The onboarding process was okay but there no structure to this company. I was given two accounts to start but one of them was huge that even experienced delivery managers who worked for the company for YEARS didn't want to take it. 
Even though I was told that I had the help, that was a first red flag.
When one of the account managers hit on me (flag #2) and I didn't know what to do half the time (flag #3), I knew I was done with this place.  So I told tell senior management that I no longer wanted to work on that big contract and decided to book a holiday while on probation :).  I accepted the consequences and forgot the whole experience after I came back.
Even after all this time, my message to management: your organization has some great people in it but don't throw newbies under the bus and have better organizational structure.

Every day is different with different challenges, headache's, high energy and a sense of accomplishment at the end.  

The executive team has a holistic approach to client management, that I sometimes forget.  It's not always about the contract value, its about the strength of the relationship with the client.

I've had personal challenges, almost since I joined Nova, and the executive and management teams have (and continue) to support me.  I have earned (by meeting deadlines, producing results and being open to suggestions) the ability to work flex hours that allow me to accommodate my personal responsibilities and meet my professional commitments.

I must admit that even with flex hours, there  are times when it takes more than the regular 40 hours a week to meet deadlines.  But, that is just part of what it takes to support Nova as it continues to grow, in staff, service offerings and financial health.  Year over year Nova has grown beyond my expectations.  I am proud of my success and to be part of Nova's success.

As an administrator job ,i handled lots of daily routine tasks, Daily Managing the trouble ticket queue, responding to proactive monitoring alerts, executing change controls, routine maintenance, performance monitoring, system logs and tuning  checking.Incident and Problem management, Windows servers and detailed reporting on trouble tickets status. Management and co-workers are skilled most hardest part is Interaction with 3rd party vendors, Client Teams and senior onsite Systems Engineers help to optimally perform job easily and efficient. without giving them full access of servers.

I worked for Nova Networks, and in that time  working for Nova I never received an increase in pay. When I asked about increase in pay I was given excuses then told to take the door if I wasn't happy, which I did. 

Nova Networks claims to understand family values but that only applies if you are related to the owner. I felt that I was not respected by ownership as a professional. I felt like a slave in a sweat shop.

I encourage all who see Nova Networks job posting to think twice before applying. Extremely horrible experience working for that company.

Employees are treated poorly, offices are poorly maintained. Work and projects are disorganized.  Some managers belittle employees.  Sales and "marketing" propose undeliverable solutions to customers and short sell services in the hopes that customers don't notice.  Senior management says one thing then either does nothing or does something completely different without advising stakeholder.

What is the best part of working at the company?
- Must be open to accept new challenges, overall great experience for a IT career. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
- Dealing with multiple projects on a daily basis.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Accepting and busy. Workers are dedicated to the role.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sometimes engaging with clients, and sometimes quiet like on a Friday.

A typical day at work would be ..Coming in logging in to ticketing system ...Answering phone calls and emails from clients in regard to technical issues. Trouble shooting clients technical issues through use of remote assistance tools. Restarting servers when required by client. Creating user accounts in active directory and exchange management when required by the client .

It is a great opportunity for me to work with so many professionals, lots of them are working 10+ years for the company. The management is great, respectful and understandable. I got the opportunities to work on different things. Everyday is exciting.

If Implementing New things Managing stuff that you are well aware off , and working on things that you have never done before or have never got a chance to work on is a preference,  then this is the place to be, but on the down side pay is not that great, some times you feel that you are overburdened, it becomes tough to keep a balance between work and life.

I feel like I am just here to work and company interaction among co-workers is scarce. There are no social events after work except for one BBQ a year which is very brief but other than that there are no pay bonuses or any relative incentives.

Don't get me wrong there are worse companies to work for but here at Nova it is something that can help pay the bills until you find something better.

The pay is below market average on the IT side as far as I know.
