It is a great responsibility operating the Banquet Department and managing the Beverage Programme . I enjoy the environment , staff and customers and the Hotel Buzz on a daily basis

What is the best part of working at the company?
Your department treats you like family but other departments within the hotel may witness a discrepancy and report it, thus throwing you under the bus, so to speak.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Time management and whiny staff.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a great company to work for but the kitchen department I was working in constantly had all employees traversing through the kitchen at all times of the day without protective footwear which made it challenging working around them but also hazardous for their safety and mine.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get the chores out of the way first then the rest of the shift is a breeze.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Some great staff. Great location. Good food

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No communication, lazy management. Someone being fired weekly. Toxic work environment. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. No sense of stability. People getting fired all the time

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Unorganized, chaotic with no communication

the staff at this hotel are amazing - truly a family. upper management incredible amount of micro management almost unbearable. So if you love constant direction this place is for you. The staff are so amazing though it kind of balances out.

I truly appreciate my time working at the lobby where I gained invaluable experience in hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork. Being part of such a fast-paced and guest-focused environment taught me the importance of attention to detail and maintaining composure under pressure. 

Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier is a one of a kind hotel where guests are made to feel like friends and coworkers quickly become family. Management takes a genuine interest in their employees and ensures that they are taken care of through competitive wage, a good benefits package and access to all of the hotels amenities.

My time at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier has been a positive and  informative experience.  I have enjoyed my interaction with international and casual guests and have been given the opportunity to obtain experience in setting up A/R accounts, professional billing and establishing professional connections.

Most managers were extremely helpful and friendly. Serving is a stressful job but compensation was definitely fair. They sometimes made me work overtime or for ten or so days in a row but if you request any time off early enough they are flexible. 

Staff are empowered to succeed in a fast paced work environment. I was proud to be part of this team. Happy team - happy guests!! (Employed at the Pinnacle from 2010-2018)

This place pays very poorly, has zero respect for its employees, extremely unorganized.   Downright comical how this place is run.  No HR department, anything goes here.  Upper management completely clueless.  Absolute gong show of a hotel.
