What is the best part of working at the company?
there is nothing good about working at predator ridge, the entire working environment is extremely toxic.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
the pay just gets people by and the only time people get raises are when minimum wage gets raised, while expecting people to do higher up jobs with no position change 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
the work environment is very toxic and draining. unless you are one of the long time higher up’s at predator ridge, good luck ever getting respected. the higher ups do not care at all about their workers well being and only make moves to benefit them, even if that means stressing out an entire department. i would recommend to no one to work there. the people are just generally mean and it becomes evident very quickly. pay is also an issue, when getting promoted to a higher position, don’t expect much of a raise. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
in the housekeeping department a typical day is obviously cleaning rooms and cabins, and also being unnecessarily stressed out by our higher ups because communication is a no go.

I had the pleasure of working in the Food & Beverage department at Predator Ridge Resort, and it truly stands out as one of the best workplace environments I’ve experienced.

From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both management and colleagues. The leadership team genuinely cares about their staff, providing clear communication, fair scheduling, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. The culture is very team-oriented — everyone is willing to lend a hand, which makes even the busiest shifts enjoyable and manageable.

The work environment is professional yet friendly, with a strong focus on quality service and guest satisfaction. At the same time, employees are treated with respect and recognized for their contributions. Training is thorough, expectations are clear, and feedback is always constructive.

Another highlight is the beautiful resort setting itself. Working in such a stunning location with a positive team makes each day rewarding. There’s also a strong sense of pride in being part of a resort that maintains such high standards for both guests and staff.

i only worked seasonally for a short period of time i learned alot in a short amount of time. Most of what i learned was making sure units were cleaned, renewed and changing sheets and dusting with a team of girls. The job was always face paced and busy on main events but as seasonal work it had its ups and downs. My manager was amazing, had the chance of working with my mom whom of which was able to recommend me into the work force to her lead manager. Knowing everyone before i started working there was a bonus and got to enjoy the company of teams i was assigned to.
The hardest part of the job was the sore muscles you had from striping and making beds all day it was the most taxing of all that needed to be done. The most enjoyable part was the completed unit being shiny and clean it was a very rewarding feeling when we didnt have to go back and clean due to someone missing something.

Beautiful atmosphere , great employees and also seems like a happy place to work 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It gets super busy there as it is world renowned Golf Course 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment for the most part was pretty relaxed and laid back at times it couldn't get really super busy but for the most part great staff great people to work with and most of the customers were happy to be helped

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The typical day at Predator Ridge was set up golf carts get people ready for the day on the course and clean the golf carts when they are finished with them and get it set up for the next group of people

What is the best part of working at the company?
The management and staff I worked around were all so helpful and kind. Hours were good, beautiful location,  fun environment and great staff party.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I worked there over the start/middle of covid and fire evacuations so sometimes you need to be the barer of bad news or get the odd upset costumers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
More based around golfers and ones coming for a nice stay. It's a fancier hotel without really high prices. The Range restaurant is delicious with good sized meals.

Enjoyed the early hours of starting at 7:30 and being done at 3:30. Worked with some great people and great team leaders. Unfortunately cant say the same for management. Very rude towards team leaders and overall just not great people. If you aren't doing it for the free golf do not work there. 15.50 and hour for hard labour is absolutely unacceptable especially when you throw in the 80$ a week you'll spend on gas to get there and back. Cant reccomend this job to anyone who isn't prepared to work this hard for such low pay.

Predator is the premier golf resort in the Okanagan and is a high volume restaurant and bar that has a massive menu, demanding members, and constant "VIP" guests. Predator has a lot to offer but the restaurant is mismanaged and has very low morale and high turnover. As a bartender you are compensated for serving and paid on your tables, maligning compensation with work. It could be so much better and I hope it improves!

Customer satisfaction oriented . Friendly the management tried hard to get employees to volunteer time to help organize events for the guests of the resort .Reasonable pay good health benefits ,some apparel donated by the company for helping out . Monthly staff BBQ in summer months .Token prizes in recognition of extra effort in job performance .

Being outdoors away from city life

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not enough training in safety, people forget golf carts turn on a dime

Great bunch of people lots of young people 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy ongoing jobs ,wide variety of work

I worked here for roughly 8 months, I started in the spring and ended in the fall, I started as a reservation agent and ended up in the showhome at District renting out units. I found the ability to advance was very quick and they are quick to see your potential if you are putting in a consistently good performance. Management was excellent, and the commradery with the team was also good. Overall great experience!
