SSR Security Services

Workplace culture is nice and supervisors are very informative. Also they do not move you from one site to another every shift. I worked here as my second job and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a primary or secondary job. They do give you hours when you want them unlike many companies.

I have enjoyed working here at SSR and learnt so much about health and safety and general practices. It was extremely valuable experience as I worked different sites during my two part time job days. The management was super helpful and accommodating and so would recommend to anyone looking for a stable work with a respectful work everyone. All my colleagues were super professional :) 

I have been working with ssr for two years now and i have alot of colleagues working in different companies but work at ssr is exciting challenging and super professional. All security guards are super professional and trained to be actually security professionals. Alot of exciting event opportunities and company paid meals.

Previously, I was working in a security company where work fluctuated so much it was hardly possible to determine but with ssr it has been reliable work with fixed hours for me so have had no concerns. been working for them for past 2 years. would recommend if you're looking to get asecurity  job in Vancouver 

I have had the opportunity to work at SSR Security to work a second job during the pandemic! They were very supportive and flexible with my schedule as I worked two jobs together! The hours and pay is good. The Vancouver office team and dispatch is great and very helpful. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to get a second job or even your first job. 

I have worked in many security companies including  my friends working in some others. SSR has one of the most respectful work environment with amazing sites to work at. I really appreciate my time working with you guys. Also very consistent work unlike many other companies. 

They never even pay even basic.  They never gave you day off even if you have emergency. i will never recommend anyone to work in this company. Supervisor never pick up your call when you need them, then they will blame you that you never make a call to them. 
They are totally irresponsible. 

Co-workers are friendly, tasks aren't hard, training is ok.

Bad work-life balance, no benefits, no chance for advancement, hard to get time off, bad communication, no overtime

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at SSR Security. I am currently working at a residential building in Burnaby. SSR Security has proven to be an exceptional workplace, especially for newcomers to the industry like myself.

Every site is different but I enjoyed working at most of them without any issues - most work was safe and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay on the industry and transition their career to law enforcement
